Hey, Friends. Welcome back to our RAM Promaster 2500 van build/conversion series. In this video, we finish our windows with the installation of a CRL Sliding Door Window. This was a pretty straight forward project…and I think we’ve finally even gotten used to sawing huge holes in the sides of our van. 

@@marctania2349 Yes. Very helpful! One question, though, about... the ring had holes, but the window did not. - What kind of screws were those and what size hole did you drill? Just small pilot holes or?

@@kz.m4251 I dont get the feeling these windows go through much of a QA process. The trim ring had holes drilled for screws....but the actual frame of the window did not. So, we ended up having to hold the trim ring in place and drill little pilot holes through the window frame. The screws actually come with the window. The trim ring was a bit bigger that it needed to be but it still worked and has held it in place for several months now.

so no sealant / glue ? is there a seal built into the window? Great vid, thanks for posting!

I am having trouble remembering.....but I think we added some sealant before screwing the windows in. To be honest, the first hole we cut was WAY too big....and it still have never leaked...So the onboard weather-sealant is doing a great job.
