In my opinion I think that portal V should have a cooldown similar to ice V, since the portal V is supposed to be a place where u can fight a person in your own domain not an infinite brain rot combo
Edit: also I think that they should make it where If someone uses portal C he gets penalized and same thing goes for runners, and the devs should make more PVE aspect of the game, since the game is now all about bounty hunting, they should add boss fights or extra lvls cause I really wanna go back to the PVE aspect of the game

Same, they always jump me, but after being near death cuz of my combo, they ran, I chase them, always so, but after losing, they are the one who calls me "running and healing" (I'm a Phoenix user) when I'm using the healing ability for a short time to bait them :/

yk, if you want to play a game with decent PVP elements and other things, try Arcane Odyssey or smth. Also, no P2W items at all, just cosmetics or small quality of life changes.
As a 6M bounty guy, i genuinely quit blox fruit pvp. It sucks so much, and knowing my internet got worse now i wont be able to reach 10M.

My idea to balance pvp
Portal nerf:
M1: slightly longer cooldown
Z: slightly longer cooldown
X: slightly longer cooldown
C: can’t use it when your bounty is at risk (when you can’t leave the game)
V: very long cooldown and both players get put back out at the same time if portal user closes it
(This is coming from a guy who has perm portal)
Godhuman and sang arts get nerfed or other fighting styles get buffs or reworks
Kitsune gets a speed nerf in transformation and Z doesn’t ken break
Trex gets less ticks of damage ( I don’t know that much about trex)
Guns are already getting reworked
TTK x longer cooldown
CDK does less damage
Shark anchor Z doesn’t ken break
Gravity cane x does less damage
Dragon trident x doesn’t ken break
And buff unused swords like dagger.
And nerf all race v4 especially angel

Give portal V the same cooldown as death step V, that's it. Honestly, it's pretty rare these days to see high bounty players without them running the same annoying builds, it's either a Kitsune, Dough, and Portal, nothing else. Me and my brother actually bets on what fruit the top bounty in our server is running and the only choices we pick are those 3. I don't know if they're even getting any sense of satisfaction or achievement in getting their bounty/honor that high by running the same build as almost every bounty hunters in the game.
Thing is portal isn't the main issue, sure v and c can be annoying but besides that portal ain't to bad, it only has movement/stun no damage attacks

I love how this is true before update 20 I had nothing and was just bounty hunting with ice and with no sword and it was fun but now I got ttk cdk shark anchor dough rumble portal to try and match people.
Yeah, I can relate to everything you said, especially the fighting servers and the variety builds
only thing stoppin me from quitting is making new accs to use new builds on like my main i have fruit storage and i also have my build as sword and low melee and maxed defense so that i can still use fruits and when my alts rech second sea i just give em a good fruit from my main.
To be honest i do agree, even though ive not been in pvp for that long (i joined the game in update 18 p3 and got to max lvl in update 19) currently im on 8.6m with control hybrid and i still clap people, but the problem is everyone staying outside the room or they just hit and camp outside, there is some brave people who fight me inside but they all get killed. I wish there were some variety builds again, since right now it's just portal, kitsune, buddhas (a lot rarer now), trex, ice, and so on, however most of these are teamers with 2 or more people meaning it's very annoying to fight them, the good thing about control with cyborg is that the chains kill them very quickly.
I really hope this update brings back the variety back to the builds as it's just brain dead right now, in 3rd sea there is like no people pvping as well as hackers, while in 2nd there is a lot of people but it's hard to find people who actually want to pvp without jumping them as they are either scared or something else; for example recently i found a 21m portal who jumped me (i was like 7.7m at the time) and yet he still got 3/3ed, he went v4 and everything so did i, he called me unskilled, trash, and so on, when HE was using portal and i was using control hybrid 💀.

This is why I’m very lucky to have friends that actually use variety stats and different combinations so we actually have like a good fight without spam fruits or portal or stupid broken stun combos. Like I literally use Control + Dragon Talon to fight my friends. My friend uses things like venom and shark man and cooks me. Man I wish normal PvP was like this

3. If someone is in a fight and neither of them died don't let them get out of combat because ice users if their opponent jumps once use f to go to castle or mansion

i remember back then when portal was called a "skilled fruit", the unskill builds were dough+shark v4, leopard etc, seeing portal in pvp was somewhat rare. i quit right before the kitsune update and just came back to the game and where ever in pvp i see there is either portal or kitsune, 90% portal and 10% kitsune users, the "skilled factor" is gone now from that fruit
The only unskilled part is v spam. Take that away and mabey the few that run with c then it's a pretty balanced fruit, it doesn't have damge moves only movment and stun

1. make portal z kentrickable
2. heavily increase the cooldown of portal x and remove the stun (and u cant use portal x in portal v)
3. cant use portal c in combat
4. increase the portal v cooldown and make everyone have equal priority of getting out portal v
5. if those are not enough remove the portal m1

I totally agree with you, as someone who is an experienced skilled build user (sh rumble kabucha db) its so annoying having to search across numerous servers just to find someone to fight. It's not just that but kitsune's base speed is unfair, considering its faster than mink v3, rumble, superhuman all combined. Blox fruit's started becoming a game designed for drooling toddlers who can't properly have a fight ever since update 16 where phoenix v2 was added.
how to fix the pvp:
1. make portal v have a 2 minute cooldown INSTEAD OF LIKE 5 SECONDS
2. if you wanna make swords op make all of the swords op instead of just a few
3. make it MUCH harder to obtain op fruits and change a lot of the raritys (for example make portal as rare as a mythical to role)
4. STOP ADDING SPAM FRUITS, NO ONE LIKES THEM THEY GET BORING SO FAST AND ARE MAD ANNOYING TO DEAL WITH
5. encourage people to use variety by DOING WEEKLY BALANCE PATCHES
6: please buff human and mink, like make mink v3 shorten your cd's like ghoul and make human v3 give more defence HENCE WHY IT'S A LAST RESOT, YOU'LL USE IT IF YOUR GETTING COMBOD TO STILL SURVIVE
7: increase how long it takes to charge v4
8: nerf angel and cyborg, there's no reason for those to be the best races by a long shot (cyborg I can understand bc it takes a while to unlock BUT ANGEL WAS LEGIT THE 2ND RACE I EVER HAD RIGHT AFTER HUMAN)
9: PLEASE make it harder for people to run, like if you enter combat make it so portal users can't use world warp
and last but certenly not least, GIVE REWORKS TO OUT DATED FRUITS LIKE GRAVITY, CONTROL, BARRIER, ETC

What they need to do:
Nerf Gravity Cane and Dragon Trident. The rework made it so insane that CDK went unrecognized.
Stop releasing beast fruits and nerf them (especially Mammoth and Buddha), and every fruit with Passive Meters (except Spirit and Sound) has to be unable to farm their Meters off of NPCs during PVPs (has to be Bounty/Honor at risk) to prevent keeping their transformations all the time.
Nerf Portal, especially the cooldown of V.. It's heavily annoying fighting a dragon trident portal if they keep spamming V in n out and popping Guitar X after you get gulped like a drink off of a cup. They should also make it so that during mid pvp they can't just Portal C away, maybe do like 2000 hp per Portal C (bounty or honor at risk pvps) so that they can't just run when they're low.
Nerf Kitsune, especially transformed form.. When they're low, where do they rely? Water. Make it so that depending on how low their health is, the slower they are in water. (Mink or any other speed buffs should not negate the speed, and yes.. Bounty/Honor at Risk times)
gc is very annoying to balance considering that if you can react to z you can counter it by holding a move like gh z for example and thus comepletly counter them for using it

@@user-tk3in6ky8x I'll just think it's his skill issue if he is using that low tier combo. And once you have bounty buffs you can escape that combo. Also sky camping kinda easy to deal with unless you are using some very skill sword. Also atleast I don't get annoyed by some different types of players in games.

Problems with this game ~ From someone who played since update 1. 30M on Pirate and Marine
1. Aim assist with Godhuman c and Saguine tracks
2. Kitsune
3. Portal v doesn't need a cooldown reduction. It needs removed and completely reworked. It's just too overpowered.
4. Race auras
5. Race v4 should not give you max stats on all catagories. Only +50% max on a stat of your choosing.

I main sand midnight blade and Sharkman . Now i tried portal sanguine and grav cane and its sooo brainded like i disappear grav cane sanguine and dead. Its just nah. I mained spider too and its still op like such a easy and op combos idk why ppl sleep on stuff. Feels like everyone is just saying "make portal v have a longer cd" but I would like a revamp. It is meant to be an arena to stop people from running away.
Idea 1. Make the portal up top arrive after about 30-60 seconds, making it so no one can leave, this would require a longer cd to compensate.
Idea 2. Similar to first but after a set time collapses (like how it does when the portal uses v) and pulls everyone out at the same time, and not the portal guy first.
These ideas are probably not very balanced but I think they make the move not be an infinite combo and instead an anti runner fruit

I managed to reach 26.5m honour in marine using the oldschool build like rumble + superhuman + shisui, am pretty proud of myself though i have to deal with portal [V] soul guitar [X] infinite brainrot combo. The dev really need to balance the game. One of the main problem in pvp on my personal experience is always the angel v4, portal brainrot combo users.
as a fake 30 mil, i still use buddha for pvp to this day. i would like to put out there that the portal fruit is one of the only fruits that can consistently hard counter buddha, because of the x move that guarantees a “combo” (m1 spam) escape and the v move that can infinite combo.
i feel like the sword meta was caused by a combination of the sword rework update and the scrolls mechanic. if you have good mythical scrolls on swords that already do high damage, then 1 shot combos are really easy to hit. because of how dangerous the threat of 1 shot combos are, portal has emerged as a necessary tool to evade your opponent, and an offensive tool to safely approach your opponent with the X move (portal X is unpunishable btw, second most cancer move in the game).
basically, portal thrives in this unbalanced sword meta because it compliments what makes swords so broken in the first place. portal hasn’t changed after it got reworked from door fruit, its just the meta. i feel that we should nerf the broken swords to give room to underused ones like Saddi or Hallow Scythe, and see if portal falls with them.
i think portal still needs a small change to the X move though. there should be some end lag on it, maybe just half a second. this is so you cant just immediately pop out and kill your opponent from 100% health, but it still has versatility as an evasive tool.

Ever since the new update my friends left because of portal, my bounty has went from 8mil to 5mil because of portal and the game just isn’t fun because of portal. I remember when i was able to use a lot of different fruits and swords and try new things out ,but now im stuck with using the same build just to get a little bounty. Portal ruined this game for me it used to be my favorite game and now it’s my least favorite. I wish I could get the money back that I spent on this game. I miss my bounty, I miss my friends on this game, and I miss when the game was fun.

I never fought them before, but i know how brainrot and annoying they are (i quit bloxfruits 3 days after update 20 drop)
They should add conquerors in a way that punishes running.
For example conquerors would be a skill that can be activated after a pvp encounter has started.
If your enemy runs far away from where the pvp started you could activate the skill and it would stun the enemy letting you close the gap and punish.
This would only work against the runner and would cause the enemy to fall to the ground or into the sea letting you also punish if they fly away or swam away.
OR they could make v2 observation give runners a slow effect similar to sharkman v4.
EDIT you would only be able to activate conquerors if the enemy runs far enough away.
Conquerors would have a separate ability if the enemy is not running. (likely an aoe stun similar to soul guitar just with an extra long cooldown unlike soul guitar which can be spammed)
The sad part is that i main dragon and i have a dragon combo and people always call me a spammer just because they dont know how to do anything else but kitsune spamming or running

I remember how when I was around 10m I could use a random build and get good with it, but now with the meta changing to literally just portal its so hard to use something different and adapt because a 2.5m could just use portal and dragon trident and theres nothing you can do of they just spam all the moves
Thats why i have the most diffrent builds like rn am using acidum and gravity cane( gun main) and for sword stats i use tusita as my main sword for fruits i would go like spider cuz these kind of unique builds are not known by the people so they dont know how to counter them
try using pheonix spikey and eclaw or pheonix soul cane serpent bow and eclaw hybrid or not they will be shocked by the op combo
try shadow god human Yama/ spiky trident and soul guitar
basically people always think shadow users just gonna do the fer99 combo but instead here is the combo

1:55 even before update 20 everyone was just spamming cdk, godhuman and soul guitar with the same combo so that point that you mention doesnt really work, and for me and many others, it wasn't even fun then, because it would just be me walking around in second sea, and then a near max level bounty hunter would use the same combo EVERY time, and all I could do is join a different server, but even then, chances are that as soon as you leave the safe zone of cafe/mansion, you would get killed by another bounty hunter with the same combo
When I meet kitsune users, I can't understand if they're pvping or not. They just miss almost every move and only hit the c move, if they missed the c, they just ran away till the c cooldown and trying to pvp again
In my opinion I think that portal V should have a cooldown similar to ice V, since the portal V is supposed to be a place where u can fight a person in your own domain not an infinite brain rot combo
Edit: also I think that they should make it where If someone uses portal C he gets penalized and same thing goes for runners, and the devs should
