@@Paradox806 Because you told them anywhere in the deck and not explicitly to not cut the aces off the card below it :P If you did they'd be onto you quite quickly though so there's just going to be a risk involved in this trick. If you want to prevent that don't let the audience cut but riffle and make them tell stop again so you can fix to stop a card later sneakily when you get unlucky.

It works as long as they don't cut the deck at a point that reveals one of the aces, at which point the corresponding king would be at the bottom once you finish the cut. I guess it still technically works even then if you just mean the "previous" card will be the king and you take the last card to be the previous card to the first card.

So as I'm a geek at this stuff I like to have a neater finish so here goes as your order is ♦️♣️♥️♠️ if you lay your kings in order of 3 places back so your k♦️ would be in front of the A♠️, K♠️ with A♥️, A♣️ with K♥️, and finally A♦️k♣️, then even with a cut the all come out as a same suit ♥️♣️♦️♠️ also to add if you set up the Q and J all in same order as the K, so arrange them so top 12 cards are 4k 4q 4j then they all come out as the same suit at the ending 😀

So the kings are all top of the deck. This means they'll be the bottom card of each pile you put down by default since you deal down 4 piles and there are 4 kings all on top of the deck.
By stacking back the piles the kings of the pile you're holding will end up on top of the Ace you placed on top of the pile you put it on. This happens with 3 piles but 1 king remains on the bottom because you didn't stack it onto anything yet.
By cutting anywhere in the deck (except the cards directly above your aces) that bottom card now has an excuse to land on top of that final ace you have on top of your deck.
Also make sure it's a single, clean, 2-packet cut. One packet from the top goes to the bottom of the remaining packet. Any type of actual shuffling will lose your Aces and Kings with a high chance.
It's safest to do the cut yourself but if you leave the cards in your audience hands make sure to grab about half a packet place it next to the deck then almost put the bottom on top to show them how it's done (though don't finish the cut just put it back and the original top on top so they can get to do the actual cut). Some people do wild things when not instructed properly :P
Now when the audience does it there's another problem of them accidentally cutting exactly above an Ace. Just make up some silly story about the Aces being shy or wanting to work in private so they aren't allowed to end up on top. Then they'll either decide to recut entirely or they add your king back on top or the ace back under your king for you either way works out.

If an audience member decides to cut the deck in half and you see an ace on top just make up something about the Aces being a bit shy and wanting to work in private or some bull like that :P They'll either have to put the Ace back on the bottom or the bottom back on the Ace. Either way works out. To be completely safe of course you'll have to just riffle and let them say stop again so you can control your stop with a sneaky extra card if you see the ace is on top.
