Thanks for this video...your machine looks very very good for its age. I bought a Quest a few years ago and mainly left it in the barn BUT today I started to look at it and will do some small work such as fluid changes etc.. Your video(s) will certainly help me out on this "quest". Thanks!

Always good to check your belt when doing oil changes, nothing worst then blowing a belt in the middle of the woods.

Hey!! I just picked up the same machine from someone who had the starter cover off the starter solenoid not wired and was like parts for this machine are easy to find..bunch of BS.
Anyways, I have the service manual and I cant see how to hook up the starter solenoid to the correct wires along with where the external coil wires to. Could you send me some pics of yours for a reference please! Ive been trying ofr months now to get this quest going but no luck..THanks!!

I have an issue with a john deere 650 its a bombardier 650 quest with John deere stickers slapped all over it. It runs good for about 20 minutes and then starts backfiring and acting like it's not getting fuel. I've watched all of your videos and alot of them have helped me get this thing going. Drive belt, idle set, oil change etc. I wonder if I have to replace gasket between carb and motor like you did in one of your videos any ideas would be helpful thanks

Mine was doing the exact same, replacing the intake boot between the carb and engine fixed it, I also found a small tear in the boot from the carb to the airbox also I had to fix.

I appreciate your videos. I have a 650 that the speedo doesn't work - it lights up, the odometer works, but the speedo never moves. Have you run into that?

Can I suggest using rubber gloves....if you don't have a latex allergy?

What size TORX wrench do you need to remove the oil filter cover? Sadly, I will need to get this...always something else to buy....I also think it would be a good idea to get an new O ring...would you know this size too? Thanks

I was able to get it unscrewed using an 8mm socket (just be carefully not to strip it), mine wasent on super tight so it unscrewed easily. I'm not sure of the o ring size but I'll see if I can track it down and get back to you

    Look in your owners manual.
    Recommends 10w40 all year.
Page 96 owners manual DO NOT USE FULL SYNTHETIC OR BLEND. OTHER THAN BOMBARDIER BRAND.
