Are VSTAR Universe Packs Weighable? Ohhh... +GOD PACK PULL!!!

- Several of you have hit up our DM's asking if VSTAR packs are weighable! I know this is controversial to do for many but my hope is to help better educate you as a consumer to have a better knowledge of what you're buying! Ohhhhh also.... we might have pulled a god pack!!

Would have been cool showing us the weight of the sealed boxes because basically it seems like you can weigh out boxes with more than 1 SR Hit like boxes with a trainer full art 😬 credits to okjluv
You can't I opened several heaviest bbs (293+) and no additional trainer besides the trainer...
The boxes get either opened, packs weighed, then preshrink(common practice), or you get the booster boxes that they attempt to weigh. Do not buy loose from any of the specialty sets from Japan. aka VMAX Climax, Shiny Star V, VSTAR uni., Battle Region, Tag Team All Stars, Etc. They will have taken advantage of you.
@@JaneDoe-sv1mk I had no bad experiences, BBs I buy without issues of sellers with a 100 percent happy customer rate, my friend ordered 4 loose BBs and one had a god pack... its all about knowing where you buy... but I also heard if you buy a sealed box with 20BBs, there is one guaranteed BB containing a godpack in it...

@@killerwaffie never heard or read that, I actually last week opened 2 heaviest bbs close to 194gramms, and one had a gold card in it, few days later my close friend the same. So chances for a gold seem 50/50 if not higher on bbs weighting around 194gramms.

Do you think my box was tampered with if I didn’t pull an SAR card and only got two AR’s? I did pull the SR energy, and Radiant guarantee. Also pulled two SR trainers out of the one box so I’m confused cause I was told they aren’t guaranteed in a box.

I got two boxes and one was certainly heavier than the other and I could tell just by holding it. I opened that box and put the other away. That box did indeed have a god pack inside. So not only can u weight the packs but you can weigh the box too. This is a MASIVE issue and means I will be careful who I buy Vstar universe from in the future.

Would’ve been great to see if sellers can weigh the actual boxes too or if Pokemon have countered that somehow. Just so you can know if buying a box whether it’s already been searched

I've seen someone do this already, so yes, unfortunately, it's possible. This means the loose packs you buy on the net, won't have these heavy god packs in them for sure! But man, are those VStar Universe cards awesome, love em. Enjoyed the vid Nick. xD

even if we buy loose pack, we wont know whether the seller weighted those packs or not, unless we buy in big quantities but then would rather just buy a box
Other problem is 2xSR are not guaranteed, the energy is always in the heaviest confirmed by me, but the possible second SR is in a lighter pack.

I weighted over 20 bbs and difference is from 291-293gramms and the heavier didn't have anything better than lighter boxes... now packs are weightable, I find the SAR pack at first try each time, and a god pack weight almost an entire gram more so that is super easy, but I didn't find any yet.
Do you think my box was possibly tampered with if I got only two AR cards and zero SAR? I thought they are guaranteed. I also pulled two SR trainers from the box so I’m wondering if that was supposed to make up for not pulling an SAR.

I agree why didn't he weigh the boxes first? I also see in the first 2 light packs has 2 good hollows in them think 2nd was forest or earth he didn't even pull it out . I bought 3 boxes from 3 different sellers off ebay the sellers I bought from before single cards only tho hopefully they don't weigh boxes!!!!!

Everything is weighable about Japanese packs. When it comes to these highclass boxes they can be weighed to find any with god packs and any that have an extra hit.

I kind of feel like most people buying Japanese know not to buy open booster boxes or single pack because of this issue and if they don't you should be going over that, not showing scammers they can scam. I don't think this is helping at all, you are essentially confirming to the few people who were on the fence about cheating others that it can be done. I don't think this helps non-scammers anymore than just telling people not to purchase single packs, don't buy open booster boxes, and buy from reputable sellers. This only helps people who were on the fence about scamming that It is in fact doable and pretty easy and that is how I feel. This is content no one needs at this point.

This is very disheartening for the average collector on a fixed income.. (Not your fault for revealing the truth.) It's already hard enough with scalpers buying everything available to the public just to jack up the price so they can profit, simply because they had more money and a faster internet connection at the time of release lol Also, most of us can't afford booster boxes. But even if we could, it sounds like booster boxes could also be weighed. And we definitely can't afford a whole case!
Can anybody list any TRULY trustworthy vendors for single packs? I feel like eBay and Amazon are a guaranteed L.. I hate to think that everybody is dishonest or evil.. Because we all need to make a living and take care of our families... so anytime there's a shortcut to make a profit, people are likely to take it. But there has to be some way to enjoy this hobby without spending thousands of dollars or knowing distributors and having wholesale connections! I may be naive, but I'm not ready to give up on the hobby and mark it off as only being a "rich man's game."
