- My mom has always wanted this doll as long as I could remember. When she was 6, She and her sister were fighting over Mrs, Beasley and she tore and had to be thrown away. We Surprised her with on this Christmas.
Mrs. Beasley was an icon in the '70s. So many young girls loved her.
It’s wonderful how a toy from your childhood can bring such joy.
I loved my Mrs. Beasley. I took her everywhere when I was young. A few years ago I found it in my childhood home in the basement. It was covered in mold and could not be saved. It broke my heart to see her like that.
Buffy in her Maxie dresses and Mrs. Beasley. So touching to see this mother's reaction to her gift.
I cried…actually burst into tears….I loved my Mrs. Beasley doll and still have her, minus the spectacles. Love on her and don't be embarrassed for your tears. This is precious…and what good children you are! Thanks for sharing!
i do have an idea...i just replaced mine that was lost when i was a teen i am now 49 and i bawled like a baby when she arrived. i do know exactly what she was feeling...and it is awesome...and sweet...bless her heart.....
I’m 62 and I get it. She was our best friend as little girls. What a great video.
Awww, I loved my Mrs. Beasley doll, too!
you kids are so sweet to get such a precious gift for your mom. An old toy is like an old friend. I wish I could find my old Fisher Price lacing shoe.
This made me cry too,...Enjoy your Beasley doll,..once again,....she found her way back to you, dont ever let her go....
Wow she made me cry. Mrs Beasley was my first doll. I loved that doll so much. Beautiful memories.
that was PRECIOUS!!
It's cool that something that simple can bring so much joy to a person.
I know how you feel! I felt the very same way about my Mrs. Beasley! Watching this, I had tears just streaming down my face! Seriously, I had no idea I would react that way! It’s funny how a beloved childhood doll can do that, isn’t it? I was an only child and grew up without my mother. Mrs. Beasley gave me many years of comfort, love, and joy. I’m not sure what ever happened to her, but, after watching your video, I’m certain this would be my reaction if I was ever reunited with her. Lol! I remember my favorite Mrs. Beasley saying was, “If you were just a little smaller, I could rock you to sleep.” 🥰❤️
It was her comforting and soothing words of kindness. I loved her so very much.
My dad broke her glasses, and I freaked out because I thought she wouldn't be able to see! I adored her ❣She traveled all over the USA with me and my family. Such a sweet, sweet doll.
I'm 61 and finally found mine at a yard sale,I love her
I Love this video! Have tears right now. This is why I love restoring vintage dolls!!
your never to old to love dolls.
Im here because I miss my Mrs. Beasley.... This video is probably what I would look like also.... Im happy that you kids found this for her..... When she was hugging her and crying it was like I was too..... You are good kids to do this for your Mama......
If I got my Beasley back I would cry too. I'm so happy for you.
This is a wonderful video. There is just something so satisfying about the chance to make someone so happy with a gift!
She made me cry, was my favorite doll also . When I was little, I got it for Christmas . This would make me so happy too if someone love me this much
the best feel good video ever!
You said it!
That video brings tears to eyes everytime I view this one. I know how she feels finally receiving Mrs. Beasley. It is like reuniting with a long lost friend. Mine is sitting beside me as I write this post. I understand completely.
That's priceless!
That's really cute! Her family is so thoughtful 💕
My daughter also got me a Mrs. Beasley doll for Christmas. It was the Cheryl Ladd replica but it still meant the world to me. Unlike most of you, I never owned one as a child, although I wanted one in the worst way. When I was 4, my mother and I took the neighbor and her daughter to the store. I was so excited to see the little girl carrying Mrs. Beasley as she climbed into our station wagon. We sat in the car together playing with the doll while our mothers shopped (it was 1970, people did that back then). I was so happy to get to play with her! When we dropped the neighbor lady and her daughter off, Mrs. Beasley was mistakenly left behind. I tucked her under my coat and took her into our apartment and ran to my room to play with her. The joy was fleeting because Mrs. Beasley's rickety old voice gave me away. My mother thought I "stole" her, smacked my bottom and drug me to the car to return her. That was the last time I ever saw Mrs. Beasley until a few Christmas's ago. I cried and held her too! Finally after 50 years, I got my Mrs. Beasley! I think we both raised some super kids!
That was nice of your daughter to get you Mrs.Beasley after all these years,When your mom thought you stole her,Didn't tell her she was left behind on accident and why didn't your mom buy you one as a child?
Wow this was surprising I feel so happy for her I'm glad she got her childhood doll back with her I just started getting into Mrs Beasley just from watching Stevie Aaron's videos she is a sweet doll no lies
I sold mine when I was 10 and regretted it seconds after they drove off with mine. I burst into tears also. My husband just found one for me at a thrift store here locally and I am crying like a baby today too. :D
That was so nice of you kids to get that doll for your mom. I should get one for my sister. We grew up watching Family Affair.
WOW! This brings back memories for me... I love this lady in how so emotional over a childhood doll. Mrs, Beasley was my first doll. I miss her.
Hiw sweet is this! I have a Mrs. Beasley that i got when iwas 5....45 yrs ago! She is in great need of repair. Enjoy her! :'-)
I even had the Buffy dresses….and had to have a rocking chair…just for my Mrs. Beasley. I received it the Christmas I was in 6th grade, after receiving the doll when I was 10, in 5th grade. thanks for taking me down memory lane;)
Even I cried watching...I can so relate to this Mum. I would so love to have a Mrs Beasley. She was my dolls name and I loved the programme. Reminds me of my Mum and Dad

This is so sweet..
My aunts first doll was mrs.beasly! I know the history of mrs.beasly very well! My aunt was impressed when I told her mrs.beasly was from the show family affair! She was just surprised I knew stuff from her childhood!
That is the sweetest thing :)
I remember Family Affair from back in the day, great show!
Wow, what a beautiful video! :)
I had Mrs Beasley when I was a little girl, so I know how much it means to have her. I still have her, although when you pull the string, it's all gibberish now :)
I had mrs beasley too. She was the best. After Casper
I realize this video is old, but I couldn't help but post. I did the same thing. My childhood doll (Pebbles circa 1960's) was taken from me when I was 5. When I was 30, I looked for one and found a lady that let me have hers after I told her this. When she came in the mail, I couldn't let her go. I'm almost 60 and I still have her and treasure her. So glad you got to reunite with yours! :)
I cannot tell you how much I relate to this video! 🥹 Mrs Beasley went everywhere with me! 💗
awwww...
i love this video!!!

I better take care of her my mom isn't here to sew her are back on anymore if I could only get another 50 years with her life would be perfect again😉
I love this video! Such a wonderful, thoughtful gift! Mrs. Beasley was my first doll. I carried her everywhere until she fell apart. I literally loved her to death! 🤗I am now an adult collector and would love to find her at a reasonable price in very good condition. I am disabled and on a limited income and I can't really afford the $200 + price tag on the really nice ones. I'll keep looking though!
I cried lol
aww I cried
Well I have to say before you even opened it I was in tears and I too fell apart when you saw her! I too was in love with my Mrs. Beasley and would react the same way if I were to get her now, I miss my Mrs. Beasley, congratulations and enjoy her :) Oh I just noticed this is in my sons name but I am the Mom (Maureen) who had Mrs. Beasley!
Though I was not born and didn't live through the 50s my favorite dolls in the world or nineteen fifty-nine Patti playpal dolls that is my reaction every time I open up a playpal doll from the 50s
Aww 🥰
awww
I'm crying
And she works
i want one
I probably sound silly but I’m moving overseas and shipping is expensive so trying to cutback on things and came across my Mrs Beasley. Even at my age I don’t want to give her away but probably will. This video just made it harder. 😢
