Txt has great music and songs like Runaway is really great but idk Abt the others like Skz,nct. Debuting from a big company doesn't mean they're winning the world. If you ask me the only 'Self-made' idols are absolutely BTS, ATEEZ, SVT and G-idle. @@wdw_lover

My bf had the same mindset when I first got into kpop, he had no problem with me enjoying something new but was adamant it wasn't his type of music. Now he smiles and bops along when I have it on and when he sees me watching an ateez mv, he asks what's happening in their storyline and loves that they build a whole world within their music. Even found him blasting Crazy Form when I came back in the house the other day 🙌 Once people take away their bias of certain types of music they can discover so much cool s***! Enjoyed your honesty and if you like the cinematic type mvs, Ateez's Guerilla and Halazia are top notch 👍
Omg, my hubby was the same way, and now he enjoys it and loves Ateez especially. 😊 He even took up for me and K-pop the other night, his friend was trashing it bc i was listening to it in the car. My hubby said "It's not trash. K-pop is not what you think it is, it's actually very good." I just grinned at him like a fool 😂 he knows Ateez's storyline as well as me, and spoils me by buying me albums and stuff, he just bought me my Lightiny actually. 😊

Tbh I was the same to him when he dragged me along to quite a heavy rock/metal style festival a few years ago, thinking meh not really something I'm too interested in but I had the best time and found I enjoyed so many of the acts we watched and happily listen to it with him now and have been again every year since ☺️ and I appreciate even more when ATEEZ lean into these genres after having my eyes (& ears) opened to it back then!
Mine doesn’t like kpop but i play certain songs so much he can differentiate between my favs and knows my top 3.

"They are different" why yes, yes they are 😆 Ateez are my ults, my favorite group, and they are just beyond talented and the best live performers ive ever seen. I used to have a closed mind set about K-pop but now its all i listen to 😂 I know it sounds corny but K-pop has made me happier, the music lifts my spirits, and ive found some amazing friends because of it, mainly Ateez fans. Please listen to Guerilla, its definitely different and 100% 🔥.

Ateez is indeed different, they have their own sound. Genuinely great performers + solid discography with no skips. They're the only kpop group I became a fan of after so many years only stanning SHINee (group that debuted way back in 2008 - I'm an old generation kpop listener myself).
you will never find a unique boy group like ATEEZ, trust me
Ateez is fire, they bring it every time I swear. If you liked this one you should check out Bouncy, and honestly their last few albums they've been incorporating a vibe sort of similar to this one - their entire last album had a very unique sound, and you should absolutely check out the song MATZ, which heavily features Hongjoong (the weird as f*ck one with the giggle)

K-pop isn’t a genre of music it’s an industry and they have just as many genres of music as westerners. BTS are my favourite and I love their rap line and Ateez are a close second for me and I’m coming from a hard rock/ heavy metal/ emo background and I love these two groups. I’d advise you check out BTSs RM-Joke and J-hope - Arson and More and Suga/aka Agust Ds trilogy- Daechwita/Haeghum and Amygdala and then Ateez -Guerrilla/Halazia and Hala Hala.

I never thought much of Kpop until I listened to Ateez this year and feel into the rabbit hole haha. I am now a Ateez, stray kids and bts fan and I listen to other groups as well … Kpop is so much more than just the “trash music” (I know what ur talking about tho). i used to be a kpop hater too LOL once i actually started giving it a chance like lowkey, i also had the same feelings and reactions as you. even my boyfriend was confused at the time saying "i thought you hated kpop?" because i started playing it "ironically," but that was 5 years ago and i've been super deep in the kpop world since. once you get past your own prejudices, the music is actually really fun and enjoyable.
