I don't care about 5G and I'm not too particular about 4G. I have my phone set to 3G and data speeds seem to be higher than when it's set to 4G. I also noticed that the device comes with gallery and music apps other than that google crap. To me that's a plus as the current phone I'm using is stock and I've been spoiled by LG and Samsung. But will it loop home screens like the LG and Samsung phones I've used? Or will I need to install another launcher? After using Samsung and LG I was shocked to get a phone that did not have home screen looping. I felt robbed. Always a pleasure to see you review...

The Dimensity 800u is actually a pretty underrated 5G processor. The features and specs look really good

This is the first time I feel the need to comment on a video such grateful I am I have found your channel! I can finally watch a honest review on a phone that I need to purchase (usually for repairs in order to resale) and get just the information I need to make my decision. The way you highlight the good and bad in such a honest straightforward way is wonder! You should be the last person manufacturers go to before putting a new product on the market! "It's not that light for this size", "there's some discolorations but it's not too intrusive"!, "if you want even brighter
evening shots just use the night mode it brightens the entire scene restores highlights and generally looks better than the regular mode" I love it 🤣🤣 That's not a big deal! I just like to know these things before buying it! While if I go on the apple website. They're trying to convince me their magic Apple cloth or whatever they call it is only compatible with iPhone 7/8/9 like if using it on an iphone 6S would make it catch on fire or something I mean ?? I mean... Anyway. 10/10 review! And I actually plan on buying the phone after this review!

Yeah, really low cost for a 5G smartphone and good use of the Mediatek 5G chipset. Love its specs at the cost.

This is a well priced smartphone and the Dimensity 800U is a good addition to the phone
I don't think headphones jacks and IR blasters should be deemed Legecy features. I use my jack daily and the IR weekly.
I found out last month that I had won a OnePlus phone and after I researched it and saw that it didn't have a headphone jack, FM Radio and a couple of other things I lost interest in getting it. I asked my sister if she would like it if I got it and when I told her about it she said she didn't want it.

The Redmi Note 9T is certainly a good looking phone with an efficient dimensity 800U SoC.
This is not a bad deal for 5G interested consumers since it has a decent Dimensity processor.

well a few thing's i dont like about this phone, the crappy camera layout, the fingerprint sensor (where it's at) and the LCD screen, i mean come on. OLED had been around for quite some time and i get it that price is a factor but, having a oled screen would be really nice.
also what i do like is
dual sims which i dont use but its really nice to have and a mirco sd slot, fm radio, headphone jack.
But still not buying it.

9T obviously. Poco M3 is bad compared. You get same battery life despite M3 having 6000mah because it drains fast in tests you see on youtube. And then there is the processor, 9T has way faster processor that doesn't stutter and can run most high end games perfectly. Also pretty sure camera is better as well

Mediatek dimensity 800U similar to Snapdragon 690 ? Are you crazy... 800U performance is much better than Snapdragon 720... 800U's antutu score is above 3 lac which is better than SD720G
Snap 690 is a 5g chip and generally 5g chips performs better cpu and gpu wise. 720g is a 4g chip. Although it is a 700 series chip, snap 690 5g is better than 720g. Thus 690= 800u< 750g< 765g.

I wish redmi would start using snapdragon chips in conjunction with the mediatek. Personally I'd choose a Snapdragon every time past experiences and all that, but there are others who may not feel that way.

Somewhat disappointing. It's basically a note 8t with a slightly better cpu and 5g, which is unlikely to be useful for consumers anytime soon.

and poco x3 doesn't have 5g so it's not future proof for people who don't change their phone every year, note 9t could be better but it's not a failure
Too big. Note 9T is lighter and has better size for comfortable use. Sold my Mi 10T Lite and got this one instead and I'm much more happy
