BTW - Etsy just deactivated 7 of my listings. All cutting boards that are treated with "food grade" mineral oil which I mention in the description. You'll see this in the majotity of cutting boards listed across Etsy so that people know the coating is non toxic like the ones being treated with Varnish and Urethane coming from China. It took a couple weeks to get the reason from them and they said the reason is that I am making medical claims by using he term "Food grade". The term is of course on the label of the product wherever you find it and regulated like a lot of other products.
Once again eRank knocks it out of the ball park with the changes to the Keyword Explorer helping us research not only in Etsy but in other platforms we might sell in. Thanks for explaining all the updated possibilities that eRank's Keyword Explorer has to offer.
We've toyed with the idea but we fear that many users will add too many keywords to exclude, causing them to kill off a majority of their results. In our testing, 5 keywords seemed to be the sweet spot before we noticed a significant decline in valuable search terms.

Customers can pay using any method. Paypal is just the method that Etsy uses to pay you, as the seller. So Paypal would have nothing to do with a lack of sales.
I have a question how do I size my t-shirt not the pitcher i look up one of mine t-shirts and i could not fine the size's i don't know how to size my product.
On the bright side, at least they are finding you! Being found for unrelated terms does no damage to your shop - though it is pretty annoying when the results are super wacky.
FYI Broad Match and Phrase Match are not the same. Your explanation will confuse everyone here... A phrase match keyword will match all the searches as the same keyword in an exact match but with additional words. Similarly, a broad match keyword will match all the searches of equivalent phrase and exact match keywords, plus additional related searches.
One of my articel is associated with a related search which is definetely not the topic of my product. Etsy can't tell me which keyword is responsible for that and they should told me to change them. Funny. I don't know which one and in the past I changed a lot and it seems still associated with this theme? It still shows up in the search analytics tool in Etsy. What can I do? And I also don't know if the erank tool is a tool for me as I type my product and the keywords in german and I don't think the exact translation into german will also run well. You can change the country and language but it doesn't work well.
Unfortunately, I can't help with the Etsy keyword issues you're experiencing, as this is quite common and is entirely on Etsy's end. However, eRank can absolutely be used for German searches. You must keep in mind though that a majority of Etsy shoppers are English speakers. So the lack of data you're seeing directly relates to the lack of German Etsy shoppers. Because Etsy translates your listings, you may find it more beneficial to start your keyword research in English, then write your Etsy tags and titles in German so that Etsy will translate across all countries who will be searching for those types of items.

That's a nice tool. Maybe you guys can make the Profit calculator more accurate for EU sellers. It's not adding the VAT to the fees and would be nice to be able to choose the country and shop currency separately as they are not always the same.

Erank say that my listing titles are bad and are written for robots to read. That listings are sold the most. The listings with titles what erank say are best,are getting zero views.
The listing audit is not saying your listings are bad. The listing audit simply tells you how well your listings follow etsys best practices. Think of it more like a checklist. Some of my best performing listings show as having multiple suggestions in the listing audit - and I'm a manager at eRank. 😂💛 Use your best judge when it comes to changing listings and never change the tags and titles of listings that are performing well. The listing audit is just there to help when you aren't sure if your under-performers need improvement.

Just the ability to exclude certain words in key word search is really helpful. You can do that a few time and trim away the garbage

Remember to start broad and narrow your way down. What keyword were you starting with in your initial query? I may be able to help you broaden it.
