with the buttons made from foam board i think youre going to need to put some vinyl or maibe that clear sticky plastic they use to cover books with over the tops of the buttons to prevent people from punching straight through them

Although your side projects are inventive, they are a distraction to many who follow you. I personally became interested when you started your lathe rebuild, but lately you are ignoring your heritage, ie engineering. And reading through some of the comments I am not alone. I never ever wanted to see Arnold Schwarzenegger try to get his son a Christmas toy. I wanted him to kill thousands of baddies. Simon says get back to your routes. Go buy a wrecked machine and bring it back to life.
