- On this episode of Crazy Will Tech Show, I’m going to show you how to replace your apple watch series 1 38mm battery for $15. I have an Apple Watch Series 1 38mm. I was going to bed and noticed my apple watch face was popping up on one side. I’m like what did I do?! Well, after little research my guess was right the battery had expanded due to a defect. Well, it looks like the apple watch series 1 38mm had a battery defect that is covered for 3 years. Mine is 4 years old. So I’m left on my own, I looked on amazon for a battery replametnt kit. To my surprise they were only $15. I got it fixed and I’m going to show you how to fix your Apple watch series 1.

Best part is where you said I thought I was too rough with my watch. My husband thinks I break everything so this helped me feel better. I'm going to try it.

Great video!!! How do i know if its the actual battery pushing it off vs just the glue wearing out? My watch is 1st gen. No battery issues that I've noticed only face popping off.
The battery won’t look square it’ll look puffy and bulges up.

I have 3 smart watches that did this same thing Michael kors, Kate spade, and a Fitbit my Samsung smart watch is still together I was beginning to think something is wrong with me but I just ordered this glue on Amazon so glad I thought to look a repair video up I was about to throw them all away thank you for this video

I've replaced the battery and force touch sensor and still does not light up. Does that mean i'm screwed? Is there anything that I can replace?
I personally would not waste any more money on it. Does the screen light up at all?
Even through my watch is an older generation. I took mine back to Apple they repaired my watch @ no charge. I was told it was a flaw with the battery.
Alcohol helps to take the battery off, be careful because you can pop the casing around the battery.
I fell landed on my wrist kinda and now my Display is coming off, you think I can just super glue it back down or is it gonna mess with the tech inside…?😬 The display still works touch and all
The batteries, not expanding? If you do it on the very edge and use gel superglue it may or may not work 😬.

I bought the series 8 and within one year the face popped off. Visited my Apple Service who said I don’t have the sticker underneath the Watch Face. I received no help at all and had no idea that this part was missing. They said it’s impossible not to have this part and I probably went to a non authorized dealer. It must be possible cause it happened. Not happy.
How is your watch upside down but showing things as though it’s correct? Someone else may or may not have asked the same, but I didn’t see it when scrolling through.
Do you mean how I change the screen?… I flipped it in the app.
What if the clip is broken in two pieces?
Unfortunately that’s a harder fix. You broke the ribbon cable. You’ll have to go on a new harness.

This was great idea-but I ended up ripping the “cables”-now it must be worthless, unless that is fixable…. Anyone, Anyone?????

Yes but not worth the price in my experience.

You really should upgrade your Apple Watch to the SE or something like that, the series one isn’t even supported anymore.
I didn’t even want to watch 😂 my wife wanted one and I had to get to show her how to use it.🤷♂️
