- Today, I'm VERY excited to share with you the MANY references, easter eggs and little details that you may not know about the upcoming LEGO Marvel Avengers Tower!

What is your favourite reference in the set? And did I miss anything?
The comic book is easily the best
the boxes at the top of the building are a reference to homecoming when tony moves out of the tower!
Just a thought but what if the hydra folder being deleted is a reference to the fact that hydra has infiltrated shield and it’s them deleting a important file
Arnim Zola being in this set is by far my favorite one, it makes it feel like we're getting an extra bonus figure in the set, and from one of the best MCU movies on top of that.
I don't think you missed any reference but when you mentioned the modern art at the top it reminded me of Tony and Pepper's conversation in Iron man 1 where she asked if he was still interested in buying the overpriced art piece
@@TobyAtwoodOr it could be SHIELD cleaning up leftover Hydra files after the infiltration/takeover.
Fun fact about the “Who is Iron Man?” Newspaper: it is the newspaper Tony is reading at the end of Iron Man 1, and the picture used in the movie was a leaked image someone took during filming.
I remember hearing about that! The photographer actually sued when they used the photo in the film.

To double your fun fact, we only added this paper featuring the leak to the LEGO set after rumours of the Avengers Tower set leaked on the internet. Leak-ception.
@@DrMonkey1224Actually he was legally filming. He was in public property and was never told he couldn’t film it. Marvel tried to take the pic down and his website, but eventually they had to apologize. Then they decided to use it in the film, but they didn’t get permission to use his picture so he sued them. He gave marvel a taste of their own medicine.

I think my favorite one is the original Avengers comics.
It would honestly be pretty cool, if we'd get more lego versions of the original comics in the future.
I always loved the lego version of the original Batman comic we got from the DC comics CMF series few years back.

4:58 By far my fav reference. Besides the tile, we get a build that attaches to Tony falling, really capturing that scene so well. Just an excellent reference with a build/minifig/and a play feature in a sense.

I really like the set. Only thing I’d change is I’d give hulk 2 facial expressions so we could get an angrier looking hulk
Ya I think that would’ve been cool! But the new Thanos has already had two heads. So hopefully we’ll get an angry one soon
Great video! Made me appreciate what’s included in the set more now knowing it’s like a “what if it all happened at once” set plus including the OG Avengers with Wasp and Ant-Man. My favorite Easter egg is definitely the imprint of Hulk smashing Loki into the floor.

A detail that you missed (which i can't blame you for missing because it's super subtle) is that the design for the gurney in the medical section is very reminiscent of the gurney used in the orignal Attack on Avengers Tower set from 2015
My favorite reference is the arnom zola sticker because you can use it to make an arnom zola robot body that can look like however you want

@@Ashnflash I had never heard of Aunt Mays wheatcakes until Marvel requested we add them to the Bugle. From that point on this cookie element is a wheatcake to us in SH. We'd probably use a different print as a cookie - at least in Marvel sets. :)

I think the Hulk and Ant-Man references on the vending machine is an easter egg referencing a coke commercial which featured both of them in 2016.

Funny how you mention the stickers being limited in color and thats why hulk is so green, as that is the same reason he was turned green aswell in comics instead of stan lee's preferred grey hulk

Actually the magazine from the 2008 iron man movie wasn’t a peoples magazine it was a rolling stone one.
My favourite reference has got to be the original Avengers comic. It's really really awesome.

Daredevil and Agents of SHIELD series are still confirmed to be canonical in the main MCU timeline.
Nothing in the official timeline book decanonized these shows & characters.
Matt wearing his Netflix suit in Echo confirms once again that the Netflix series are canonical in the main MCU.
I just noticed that the Dailey bugle on one of the news feeds has a hot dog. I don't know if that's also a Easter egg for Wong but regardless, amazing job on this video!!

@@Ashnflashthey could be right, the cell is on the helicarrier but its in the set, so it’s possible they they’re right
The cell is here as a reference to the cell from the helicarrier because they wanted a prison cell in the set.
Having a panel of a call happening from the helicarrier, to the Quinjet, in the Tower makes no sense.

Would you buy this set if you didn’t get it sent buy Lego and what would you recommend the Lego daily bugle or the avenger tower
I 10000% would buy all of these modulars even if this wasn’t my job.
But that’s a tough question at the end there… I think the Tower definitely is the better building. But the Bugle probably has more exciting characters. But that’s because I’ve been collecting the theme for 10 years so I have all the originals of the figures.
But overall, I do like the Tower more than the Bugle

I think the cans in the vending machine are orange and green to represent an orange and then the red one is the pym particle one because of the pym sticker on the side 😅 I don’t see any other reason for a red soda can in an orange theme machine

The hulk in the tv looks like the hulk from the tv show
Wanda didn't get her power from the mind stone. She already had it inside her, but untaped until the mind stone helped her in using it.
Regardless of technicalities, it was what awakened and still gave her the abilities she had. Without it, she wouldn’t have those abilities.
Perfect example is Superman. His powers from a yellow sun. They charge his Kryptonian cells.

Even tho I want more marvel Modular’s like fantastic four skyscraper I don’t think Lego would do another one as there aren’t enough ideas for places and an interesting interior

I think a x-mansion was leaked for 2024. Probably would be same size as the museum or even wider (2 baseplates), with classrooms, Xavier's study, Beast's room, the cerebro and whatever else you can think of. I'm guessing a landing pad for the x-jet would be on the roof, cause i doubt they'll make a big garden that opens up behind the mansion... as for figures, i bet there'd be re-uses, some new and exclusive, Deadpool, as it would be an 18+ set anyway - and a few repeating torsos and leg prints because of the basic x-men uniform. I think it's safe to assume we're getting at least one more modular, but that's it. The Avengers Compound doesn't seem very likely, and i can't think of anything more iconic

Depends on a couple things. Do you already have figures in each of the sets?
Because if you don’t care about the figures. Than the Avengers Tower is definitely the better, more interesting looking build

Unpopular opinion i have but the Avengers tower is better than the Bugle.
In terms of the building. I don’t think anyone’s disputing that lol
I think the bucket is to use it as a toilet hahaha,
Loki has no access to a regular toilet due being in a cage
The journalists in the buggle cannot use the toilet due to being overdue on their deadlines and not being able to lose any second leavaing, or maybe Jonah thinks having restrooms in the buggle is an unnecessary expense
The offical MCU timeline is major BS, daredevil and agents of sheild has to be canon, no question about it.
If there's no question about it then it would've been there like Agent Carter. Same goes for the official timeline on Disney Plus.

You can't even use the excuse of "oh this isn't canon to the comica" when there is multiple comics about the MCU world, comics that refrence it and spiderverse refrences multiple MCU universes while connecting to the comics
I liked the marvels, but the MCU is really on thin ice.
