Budgie - 1980 - Power Supply Classic Rock/Hard Rock UK Line-up / Musicians: - Burke Shelley / Vocals, Bass - Steve Williams / drums - John Thomas /guitars
why no one talks about Tony Bourge legendary guitar work? without him they turned into Ac Dc cover band 🤣same with UFO when their genius guitarman left also 1979
I'm just discovering Budgie. Panzer Division Destroyed being my fav so far. Loving it. But you have to say it is bit of an AC/DC song that AC/DC didnt write
well let's look at the early history of AC DC band... this part of history is not often well told out there, I don't even know all of it myself, I just heard that early on the band UFO adopted AC DC to open gigs for them on the road (UFO is another band that always had this straight-forward no-nonsense sound to their music) UFO started that style in 1974 with Michael Schenker on guitar... but even then Budgie was doing all that in 1971, very impressive... if I had to give credit for AC DC sound I would say they were above all inspired by the style of early UFO straight out Rock N Roll more than anything 🤘rock on cheers
fantastic artwork... I always admired people that can draw, I could never do anything near a pencil 🤣🤣🤣well I never tried either... but hey I find interesting, how could someone draw "transparency" effect as seen in the spotlights there? I didn't even knew that was possible... clever trick
De seguro esta rola es una de las influencias de José Andrea para su disco de 2012, su primero con Uróboros desde que se fue de Mago, tiene tinte a blues rock, southern rock, hard rock y AOR
R.I.P BURKE SHELLEY
One of the best singers of all time rip 🦜
Sad Day For Earth, Great Day For Heaven 😂
damn good oldschool rock
One of the U.Ks best.

AC/DC copied the Budgie style

it's so weird to me I never ever seen AC DC mention UFO on any of their interviews... UFO embraced them and gave a kickstart on the UK

This album is half rock/ half metal, but it works for me
