I dont see him having any sort of attitude here and gave them solid advice. 30 years of acting experience WILL be different than a one year experience or less so not sure why you'd think otherwise. He's played in various roles and has that experience.

Will Smith is one of my favorite Actors, I remember him from back in the late 80s as the front man for Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince to the Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Men and Black, Ali, Hitch and an assortment of other movies. He has an on-screen presence, and is also a very good business man as well.

Yeah... Pretty much everything was full of life when I was younger so I started getting personally attached to inanimate objects. I'm not saying I'm not crazy or anything but I named a table Frank once...
I even convinced my parents that I thought it was talking back to me just so I could blame certain things on the table. I was probably hellbound much earlier in my life than I had originally anticipated come to think of it, Cause looking back on it now. The face my dad gave me each time that I said "My Table Told me to do it!" As a very spiritual man, I must have been a truly terrifying toddler.
