I travelled to Ballybofey for a relegation decider. Harps fans had told me the end of the season was their time. Unfortunately the great escape wasn’t to be for the Donegal men this time round. - Sport
Finn harps fans will have a manscaped discount so it'll be some consolation lol 😂
If they take it on it will cheer them up a bit 😂
Personally I have bother enough with the ears and the nose without worrying about the cojones😵💫
Rumour has it there hasn't been a hairy ball in Ballybofey since this video was published.
thank you for uploading these brother .
Talking about FH tune as you called the Billy boys, I remember my da buying me the record Finn harps and if I can remember I think Johnny Thompson was on the other side of the record, that must have been late 60's possibly 1970ish
Good video. Pity see Harps go down, they've a good support base, need that new stadium to become a reality though. Credit to those UCD fans as well.
New ground coupled with a promotion would be a great story
we done it come on the Blues
Shame to see Harps go down, a good club and good fans.
Pitch does not lend itself to good football, hopefully they can get their new ground restarted
True lad
things you never thought you would hear in the LOI, the billy boys would be top of the damn list. visited ballyboffey many many times with the parents when my mum was alive and never knew there was a football ground there, knew there was a gaelic one, or maybe its the same one. interesting fact about UCD that the players dont get paid but get reimbursed for their courses and housing. the UCD #21 looked like he was about 10 year old lol. whats the next league down like Niall? will it be easy for harps to come back up again next year or will it be a battle for them with the obvious financial hit with the likes of DC, shels, rovers bohs not bringing big crowds. great vid again mate 👋👋👋
The Gaelic ground is about 100 metres away.
1st division has quite a few teams who are full time. Will be a tough ask to get up. I think they need a plan to get up and be able to stay up.
Massive respect to that ucd fan . Proper loi fan there 👏
Couldn’t believe it. Fair play to him, he was really enthusiastic. Him and a few others had got the Dublin bus to Donegal town.
Great video, was at the game myself, awful stuff, been the same all season. Think its going to be a struggle to get back up.
Rebuild required. Was surprised by how poor harps were, genuinely though Horgan would have had them absolutely champing at the bit on Friday. Players need to shoulder lot of the blame.
You'll. Be. Back. . This. Is a set. Back. But. Sometimes. You have to. Regrupe. To. Go. Forward. .
I’m not a harps fan so I’m not overly bothered if they return or not.
Waterford man here pity to see Harps go down but that is the way it goes now hoping to see the Blues go up
They were poor all season. Some really strong teams have the chance to come up. Having said that UCD are pretty decent.
@@ThePeakys yes indeed however i do believe the blues will have a big say
@@declanmurphy417 don’t understand why there isn’t a 12/14 team top flight. Some sides with very good support in 1st division. Full time models being introduced as well I hear.
@@ThePeakys yes i agree 1OO% and again commiserations to Harps a right good side in there day
8:43 when you said that's a tiktok video, I'll be posting that on my account and let's see who's better
You better not hi. I’ll be looking royalties 😂
Whats significant about that song billy boys? I dont know it. Great video
From a Derry city fan l, Finn Harps fans had a flag up last season saying go back to your own league so rub it up them.
😂😂😂😂 4:26
Love your videos Niall. Your videos are class. Are you for the match today. If you're going will you interview me. Anthony Elliott I'm watching you.
Didn’t go today, family day for me.
From a harps fan we deserved to go down
Yeah, I was surprised by how poor Harps were last night. I expected a blood and thunder performance but it never happened.
To many players left from last year lad
@@tjayorr5365 aye and not replaced with as much quality. Massive rebuild required. Teams in the 1st division have money.
Time for Ollie to say goodbye and get a footballing manager in
Yeah, the team he had didn’t buy into the whole Ollie mantra.
Greatest manager in your history, ud be a tinpot club without him. Have a bit of respect, if he's gonna go let it be on his terms
@@caoimhinohorgain9624 I’m not Finn harps
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Finn Harps deserved to stay up if only for their interpretation of the Billy Boys 😃. With the top teams in the Championship having more money than them might be hard to get back. Hopefully the new stadium will help turn things round though...
I had heard it before on LOI TV at Finn Park but that was my first time in person.
I remember growing up that there was a Jock Stein version of the Billy Boys as well.
Gonna research the original version out of curiosity to see if the tune pre dates the Billy boys, out of curiosity.
Harps now have an opportunity to restructure in line with the new development.
@@ThePeakys American Civil War tune.
@@chavva aye, saw that. It’s always been a catchy number but obviously most well known for people being up to their knees 😬
@@ThePeakys 😫😡
@@chavva 😂
noo boos at the end or chants your getting sacked in the morning jeez these fans must have patience
There use to it 😂
They were resigned to their fate long before last night. Was a strange atmosphere and I genuinely felt for the young kids with their grandparents beside me in the 2nd half.
However, that Harps team is as poor a side as I’ve watched in the last year.
@@ThePeakys yea Niall they r brutal worst harps team by far, u for the final st the Aviva sold out Derry's end anyways goin to take over Dublin
Harps were terrible this year and deserved relegation.
