For everyone saying the take down is impossible. It’s much easier because once you unwrap the Marley hair the loc just slips off and you take out the braid. NO SCISSORS NEEDED. I usually don’t crochet the hair at the root tho. It’s not necessary but whatever works best for you
how so? if the natural hair is being folded over itself then they wouldnt be cutting that close to their head. if the natural hair is 6-7 inches they wouldnt cut 2 inches from the root yk?
The way I do my locs are braid-less and doesn't require a crotchet needle. Very easy to take down too. I need my own CZcams channel so I can save lives.
I do my faux locs without the crochet. Much easier. Just use the Marley Hair and go down, keep adding it to get longer until desired length. Much faster and easier to do by yourself
what do yall be doing to cut yalls hair. its easy to take out and if you just unwrap the hair at the base which you should not be cutting just unwrapping and you can use the locs again cuz it will slide off
You can buy hair glue at you local beauty store or online but if they try and sell you nail glue don’t get it they are lying use specifically hair glue
Quick question What do you do to make the lock flexible at the root after you have wrapped it? When I try this technique, my locks are always stiff for days before they loosen up
Wow now Caucasian know how to do black peoples hair now wow 😳 welcome to 21st century well done I didn’t even think they would lean to do our hair wow !!!

I was coming to say this!!!! I do the exact same method that you described.no extra crocheting of the Marley hair and No scissors. :)
I find this method causes the client to cut their own hair if they take it down themselves
I can definitely see that happening..
Thank you for the heads up. I was watching thinking I don't like the bending of the hair, it. It could create breakage tension over time.
It's actually really easy to take down 😭

How do you prevent the Marley from unraveling?
Done a method similar and it all depends on how you take it down I’ve never had any issues.
Is it painful? My sister did hers and was crying. We had to take it out that very day
I think she did the platting too tight! She’s not supposed to hold the bottom too tight. ❤️
How do you get the wrapping hair to not unravel. How is it secured?
That’s what I’m wondering too bc I tried that hand method before and it seems to unravel a bit. Maybe I should try a little bit of got to be glue
The hair just…. Stays lol. I don’t know how to explain it but I wrap my faux locs with Marley type hair and it never unravels.
Please is that a knitting pin and whats the name of the loc extensions used
Thank you
What hair you use ?
Nice
This must be hell to take down 😮
Is easy to take out if you know what you are doing, read through the comments section, you will learn one or two. Thanks for your comment
How do seal the wrap? Mine keeps on unraveling
JUST UNRAVEL THE HAIR THAT DOES THE WRAPPING & slip the loc out 😢 . It works so good for me and goes so last
Thanks for this comment. I’m glad it worked out for you ❤️
So this way won’t break your hair off
Rolling the hair will make it stay or do I have to burn it or add product?
You can buy hair glue at you local beauty store or online but if they try and sell you nail glue don’t get it they are lying use specifically hair glue
Easiest i have seen
I need this painting

Breaking hair, damage hair follicles.traction alopecia. We know this happens too often.
Nonono😢
Thanks for watching. Yesyesyes😘
Please what was the name of the locs you used ?
Why would you be teaching the technique and is hiding it at the same time. Waste of post
This method takes too long and it's unnecessary, try the other ones, trust me
Thanks for watching…. Please watch my recent short on how to install locs 🥰
@@GiftSkillz ok cool I'll definitely check it out 😘
Absolutely not. There are way easier methods than this.
