- A montage recording of 3 different live takes, shot at Cy's Garden in Nutley, NJ. & "Nanina's in the Park" in Bellevile, NJ. during 2013. That's Mark Berger standing between Peter Allen & Me. Mark played bass in my wedding band when he wasn't touring with Peter Allen. The song was written by Peter Allen & Carole Bayer Sager and recorded by both of them individually. This recording is in the style of the Don Costa arrangement for Frank Sinatra which appeared on his "Trilogy" album.
Another great singer who was gone too soon.
At least one time per week i came here and listen to this beaultiful song sang by this fantastic gentleman. Jerry, im sorry thar you isn't with us anymore, but your song will live forever!

Jerry does a phenominal job with this song, yes there are many karaoke singers but Jerry is in a league of his own, whether its Karaoke or not his vocals are unquestionably one of the best out there. Peter Allen sings this song and I personally enjoy listening to the Peter Allen singing this song over Sinatra.
I like to hear this song a lot and when I heard how he sang it, I loved it more !

Jerry you were absolutely marvelous!! You and music went together perfectly, it was beautiful. Where did you find this instrumental track for this song? I would love to get it for myself cause I love to find Frank Sinatra instrumentals cause I'm a singer too and love to sing his music.
He has a nice voice but there is something about Sinatra that just can’t be beat.

Why isn't it You and I ? instead of You and me,?😮 there's no logical reason , certainly not the rhyming, You And I we reached for the sky is better, its OK to say "me" "and of course widely used but.........well any thoughts on this ?.
I guess if you close your eyes tight enough and there is enough static on the radio you could be hearing Sid Mark introduce the Sinatra classic on WYNY,' You & Me'...written by Peter Allen & Carol Bayer Sager and arranged by Don Costa for the 1980 Reprise record, Trilogy...Past Present Future. This is considered to be among one of Sinatra's greatest songs, so that's no knock on Jerry for giving it the old college try but there's only one guy who could ever sing this song...and he did. There's a million and one karaoke singers like Jerry out there belting out their favorites at local bars on Friday nights, and that's fine because I'm one of them... but you also got to understand that nobody wants to hear a amateur sing a cover version of their favorite artists song on CZcams. What's the point ? When we want to listen to Old Blue Eyes on CZcams, we want to listen to Old blue Eyes and not Jerry from Nutley.
