Hi I’m a community college student studying computer science. Not sure what I want to go into but I like hearing about things in tech.

@fishs9186 I’m glad to hear you’re interested in tech! If I were in your position, I would start by gaining a strong foundation in the basics of programming, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Once you’re comfortable with these, explore various JavaScript libraries like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Consider applying for internships to gain practical experience. Internships can provide valuable industry insights, networking opportunities, and hands-on skills that you won’t get from coursework alone.
Additionally, work on building your own projects. These can be anything from personal websites to more complex applications. Not only will this improve your coding skills, but it will also create a portfolio that you can showcase to potential employers.
Remember, the tech field is constantly evolving, and while it can be challenging, having the right skills and a proactive attitude will significantly increase your job prospects. Stay curious, keep learning, and you’ll find your niche in the tech world. Good luck!
