    This is the best one. As many people my age want loud exhaust on their 3 to 4 cylinder shitboxes, I prefer to have quiet exhaust because it makes me feel stealthier.

    • @jamestorrens645
      @jamestorrens645 Před 2 lety

      Personally I don't like any loud exhausts. At a certain point, the niceness of the exhaust note falls off a cliff if it's too loud. Because at that point, it's not nice, it's obnoxious. I don't care if its a Yaris or V8 Commodore, if it's obnoxious it sounds awful IMO.

      When i still had my F6 Tornado, i got a dump pipe to tip system made up that was a tad louder than stock, measured 3.5" diameter and had a stock FPV tip.
      Even though it was a quick car from the factory, after having the exhaust system done & a tune, it was a perfect sleeper, no annoyingly exhaust, no drone, plenty of flow, and still had a 3 muffler setup in it.
      Never had any issues with the DOT or Cops either (as you get older, you get more sneaky!)

It had nothing to do with the system, it was just that one of the previous owners of my TE50 had fitted it to the car, why they went so small I'll never know, it just wasn't up to scratch. Replaced it with a 3 inch and what a difference. Not just in sound but in performance. I wish I'd known you were chasing a system mate, you could of had my old one it was only few years old.
