- Gower Sea Fishing at one of my favourite marks along the South West Wales coastline, just next to Three Cliffs Bay. When it comes to Bristol Channel Sea Fishing, this place is one of my favoutes places to fish, it does wonders for the mind and makes you feel alive.

100% agree with you on the dogfish, I have a soft spot for the humble doggy, they’ve saved me from a few blanks over the years. Loving the scenery shots there Gareth, you seem to have quite an eye for a photo. As always, I look forward to your videos and please don’t let the negativity of the small minority affect what you enjoy doing. There are far more of us out here that enjoy your content and look forward to watching your channel so keep up the good work mate.
Definitely Wayne, you can always rely on them to provide a big of action when not much else is feeding and as you say, they save many a blank! @@nathandavies6857 Thank you Nathan. It certainly is a beautiful mark, just a great place to be and in fairness a few fish usually turn up. Yeah give it a go this summer, all sorts of species can show up, it's full of surprises on its day. I use both the beachcasters and the spinning rod during that time of the year and it can be good fun. I'll probably try again in a few weeks time, will look forward to going back. Great videos Gareth! Me and my son (who's 9) have been watching them the last couple of months and you inspired us enough to get out there and give it a go around Cardiff ourselves. So far we've caught 3 fish - a whiting, codling and a conger and absolutely loving it, so thanks again! We'll be out fishing again!

A very engaging and enjoyable video. I live in Christchurch so very different shore fishing terrain from the Bristol Channel but have had some lovely sessions on holiday bass fishing around Oxwich and Port Eynon. I must get over to the Gower again! Also enjoyed some of your food videos as I forage regularly in the New Forest for mushrooms and anything edible. I love nettle soup, also wild garlic so really enjoyed your nettle juice video so that’s my next project as the drink looked wonderful.

Thank you Matt. Yeah it's a cracking little mark, a variety of species can make an appearance, particularly from late spring onwards. I was shocked to see the Pollock given the time of year although in saying that, you get loads down there during Summer, mainly to the left of the carpark over the rough on metal lures. Bet that was a shock seeing one get caught at the barrage. I saw one being caught down Friars point years ago and that was a shock ha! Hope you get into some fish tomorrow, I reckon you will! I'm cleaning out my gutters tomorrow but I have Tuesday off work and so will try and squeeze a session in. Cheers mate, tight lines! 👍👍

@@riversidewithmea place of beauty no doubt 👌have fished around the corner at Port Eynon years ago launched a small boat there and had a go in the bay some trigger fish and the bull huss, intersting how far the tide goes out and reveal the ledges 👍

Ahh over the moon for you fella. Just came home from work to find this upload. I've had a dip in my mental health the last two weeks and as I've told you before, these videos are my goto feel good viewing.

Another great vid Gareth. I have the same attitude to you regarding fishing. Enjoy the day out, if you catch something its a bonus. I have a soft spot for the humble doggie. Id rather catch them than pin whiting anyday. Regards the weather, if they say sunshine and light winds i take the shelter and heavy gear.😂😂 The trolls are sad lonely idiots that havent got anything interesting in their lives. ***k them.

Fantastic watch Gareth ... hope you made up that cliff face without any dramas. Do wear steel studs in your boots for tricky wet rock marks. I fish Angelsey a lot. Mostly catching doggies. They always save the blank. 15 once in one session. A lot of anglers don't like them but when there's nothing else around they usually save the day. Enjoyed watching this one. I have subscribed.

Great session. Like any sport you do, take part and enjoy and not winge if you don't catch or come first. Wish some of our fellow anglers were as conscientious about returning the fish unarmed if you're not going to eat them and seeing you pick up litter. Keep them coming.
Yes I agree Jeff, it's just nice being out there, spending a few hours next to the water and being at one with nature and the surroundings. Fish welfare is always at the top of my agenda and I try my best to ensure they go back as unharmed as possible. I've found Dogfish still alive in bins before now and it makes me angry, they are living things that should be respected. Hope all is good with you, many thanks for watching! 👍👍
