Welcome to the official Laver Cup CZcams channel. Laver Cup Vancouver 2023 runs from September 22-24 at Rogers Arena. The tournament takes place for the sixth time and features some of the best players in the world. Björn Borg captains Team Europe, consisting of Casper Ruud, Andrey Rublev, Hubert Hurkacz, Gael Monfils, Alejandro Davidovich Fokina and Arthur Fils. John McEnroe captains Team World, consisting of Felix Auger-Aliassime, Taylor Fritz, Frances Tiafoe, Tommy Paul, Francisco Cerundolo and Ben Shelton. Team Europe’s vice captain is Thomas Enqvist and Team World’s vice captain is Patrick McEnroe. Team World are the reigning champions after winning at London 2022.

Ben Shelton is the mvp. Won his singles and 2 doubles. Fritz really came through beating Rublev too.
Well done Team Europe. So fun to watch them play. Congrats to Team World. It's great to see the younger generation coming into their own.

The only reason I watched this event was because of Andrey Rublev. He was the star he was the showman he was the best cheerleader for his team. he gave us one of the best doubles match in tennis history with his outstanding performance in this last match and he delivered the cutest contents everyone was looking for. I want him to play next year again but this team def needs better teammates and a coach who can do his job actually

I am Team Europe thru and thru and well done to Casper (and RUblev who played a lot of matches) but I am sincerely happy for team world this year, seeing wins from Shelton, Cerundolo and FAA. I was also glad to see Eubanks representing team world.
I'm Team World and two years ago we never thought Team Europe could be beaten. I really don't think Roger will be able to stay away - he even said in one of the LC promos he was "Team Europe through and through" and even though he was doing the sportsmanlike thing & applauding he did not look pleased -- so I expect Team Europe will be back with a vengeance 😊

Rublev has been one of the nicest people in tennis when I saw the team selected. I knew team Europe wasn't gonna take it home this year , team world guys have been playing the best tennis of their career this year, and they deserve the win. I am team Europe, but laver Cup was getting bored with team Europe winning all the time. Now we have competition , let's go with better selection next year team Europe and Roger can captain next year.

At first I didn’t know what to expect🧐 But this infusion & mix of new guys + seasoned talent was very exciting to watch🤩

Team Europe is my favorite, but non of those guys,were playing, there were terrible,they shouldn't be there
Why Europe team left all the best players home.. Djokovic , Alcaraz, Medvedev.Zverev. And World team had all the best players for the moment.. WTF???
I thought that. Sascha's at another tornament, but they could've had the others.
Djokovic is still in the Davis Cup for Serbia, Alcaraz is injured, Medvedev and Zverev are in other tournaments.
Alcaraz took a rest of tennis because de burn out.
Please dont make Rod Laver stand for that amount of time again.

It's all over in a flash. Especially with a 13-2 whipping. I hope in the future (schedule permitting) it evolves with ranking points and maybe played over say 4 days.... 3 seems to go so quick lol

Team Europe and team world are strange designations.
Carlitos alcaraz, stay away from laver cup (too much tennis will get you hurt)
Laver Cup is becoming a bit of a joke since last year 2022.
The first 3 Laver Cups Team Europe played with pretty much their strongest teams.
In 2022, Federer played with an injury, Nadal had to leave halfway through because of his baby and Murray was ranked about 47 in the world and only played because Roger wanted the Big 4 together again.
And this year - no Alcaraz, Medvedev or Djokovic...
Team World!! Johnny Mac so fantastic! Love Fritz Rublev & Casper Rudd & Felix. Not impressed with Ben Shelton too bratty. Love Bjorn oh & so ecited to see Milos what a great surprise. Thanks Johnny & Bjorn.

The childish behaviour of Eubanks and Tiafoe turned this into a farce. Men's tennis is better off putting the effort into the Davis Cup. You cannot manufacture a rivalry that is simply not there.
Russians should play for team world, not for team Europe
