If Zeldin is elected Governor of NY State, I can see a huge battle in the making with those who won't take kindly to the changes he wants to make. With education being just one of those battles, since he'll be up against teacher unions. If there are enough people in NY State that ticked off, maybe those in the State Legislation need reminded their terms in office are on the block unless they work with Zeldin and help makes the necessary changes for the State of New York.
The national teachers' union, the AFT, is a hugely influential lobbying group and totally horrendous. They have representatives over in Ukraine now, trying to introduce "woke" education policies over there (?), they lobbied the CDC hard to keep co vid restrictions in place (so that schools would buy more corporate ed tech for online "eduction"), and they send representatives to the WEF. I was born in NY. I spent the first ten years of my life up there. My family moved to NC back in 90. But as I grew up I saw the horror of the Democrat policies up there that sucked the life of economics and policing. And with most of my family still living upstate and in the city, it brings me so much joy to see hope float back in NY. The state has so much potential. It has so much beauty and is more than just NYC. I would love to see NY return to greatness once again vs the never ending feel of depressing politics. Go Lee Zeldon. Make us all proud of NY again, home and away!!!
