Thanks for the water condition ! I was wondering how it would look, damn this flood completely changed the river course ! And interesting log jams
No worries! Brand new river forsure. Log jams everywhere indeed
Yep.. rivers are nature.. they change all the time... sometimes slowly .... sometimes very quickly... that's the way nature works.
THE POWER OF WATER!!
Sheeesh, nature scary. Keep me posted brother
Forsure!
I absolutely love the Peach Creek trail. It's the best part of the whole trail
Yes it’s a beautiful trail and good scenery too
It is like the Faser river! I'm thinking of how my dad, a dedicated Sunday fisherman who always followed the fishing, from the Vedder to Chehalis, Thompson-Nicola, Fraser and more. He'd be shocked but yup floods & hurricanes always mess up what'd turned to our beloved spots & river ways. The late 60's hurricane ! ruined the creek on our Albion property. Thanks for this.
I’m glad you enjoyed it! Yes it is unfortunate. Hopefully it won’t affect salmon population crazy down the future.
Did the same thing in Merritt, left it's original riverbed and created a new one, right down a street.
Wow nice video!
Thanks
Wish I knew what everything looked like prior. I never go out that way. Never travel further east than surrey 🤣
Amazing, just goes to show who's in charge. Streams, rivers, Lakes, oceans, have the right to personhood until we treat water as a person, then we won't get anywhere. Sure, Drain a lake or move entire rivers systems for a way of life, rain and water will win out. Water isn't a bully to people. People can be a bully to mother nature. Release mother nature. She's doing her job. I've walked through there before, a beautiful area.
100 percent facts! Nature are deem to win. Blessed to live in such a beautiful area
Very nice 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Have a friend that walks and fish around there. He sent picks before this happened. Wow what a change in the river. Not tbw same anymore.Stay safe.
Crazy thing is the water level almost peaked at 4 metre and this footage was filmed at 2.4 meter. Thank you 🙏
Wow thanks good video
Thank you :)
Goated video!
Thanks 🙏
Awesome video. Thank you.
No worries :) Glad you enjoyed it
Eddie Vedder sings in Pearl Jam.
nice views. “Aquatic Monkey” just walked the river bank by the #1 and found a whack load of floats. Should be like golf balls, where guys initial them I guess.😉
That was my next plan to film. Clean up. You read my mind haha
Subhanallah..wonderful👍😍
You may be needing to build a few bridges if the water level doesn't lower back to normal. When mother nature changes the landscape we adapt. Good luck.
Only time will tell. Nature dictates forsake
Quite a bit different will be interesting after the water drops.
Forsure. Time to explore
Very helpful video here. We got some video from the air today and this really pulls it all together. New subscriber here :)
Thank you! Air footage would be very interesting. Your channel is very informative. Subbed as well :)
@@Go2fishingbc oh cool! Will check out some of your videos. Nice to see local stuff !
Amazing and devastating at the same time, never underestimate the force of nature, good news to have seen a sokey,
Nature is definitely magical. I believe that was a coho
@@Go2fishingbc were lucky, because usually some countries when floods , you can see alot of death 💀 in the fish 🐟 area, floating by thousands,...
Cool video!
Thanks!
Next Summer the swimming holes will look very different.
Time to explore!
There are those that changes dude. From humans, animals, trees, plants, and specially the landscape of the earth surface too, so let's all just face it.
🤞
How did you get to the river - drove from vancouver how? thx for the vid
Glad you liked it. I live in chilliwack. I think you have to go through hwy 7 to get to chilliwack which will take a longgg time
They've got the #7 open for essential traffic only. If you don't need to go anywhere, stay in your local area.
Any reason you did not go upper river past tamahi?
Look like there was lots of work going on
If ya like to pan for gold this is a good time to try all these old river channel's✌🙃
Interesting!
I just left a comment on Dan Hurd's channel this morning (Sunday) about all the new exposed material on the Coquihalla. Get out your gold pans!
Wow cool! I will definitely check it out
