if you mean by upgraded, ultimate then yes. they will however, they do not refill ammo if a max ammo is picked up. they only will if you're holding the staff at the time the drop is picked up
i finally got the achievement Master Wizard on 6/21/2017. i first got Thor, the rightmost robot on round 3 at generator 3. as as well as the first ice staff piece. by round 10 i had 3 zombies left and biult all the staff while getting two ready for collecting souls to upgrade. first staff i upgraded was lightning. by round 13 i got the wind with ice in a close second using the fire to fill the 4 things in the crazy place with fire but i has gone down for the final quick revive, realizing i had only one chance left. after getting JUGG i finally got the fire upgraded at 15. then grabbing Boreas' Fury i circled around the center of the crazy place juking all the dropping walls and grabbing all the upgraded staffs with Ull's Arrow being my last one to pick up. wanting to celebrate with a toke. i decided to quit the game right there as my journey to obtain this achievement has been been a Trial by fire for my sanity and humanity. treachery in the trenches

there are bids on it just look up upgrading the fire staff and it will show you how to do it hope this helps
Jumping fro mthe tank to those lightning staff parts can e really annoying sometimes when you dont make the jump. Especially the last one by the 6th generator.

upgraded ice staff is my favourite and it is pretty easy for me to upgrade

Gerald you don't need to know symbols or trial and error it is the same pattern every time I screenshot it right before it scrambled and it s the same every time so just screenshot it
I know that there isn't gonna be another zombie map (probably) but I still miss the days when it was just pure survival
You can't see the rounds because he blurred them out, and that's because it took him more than one game. The reason for that is on solo mode, once you pick up two elemental discs, the other two despawn. So I'm letting you all know, on solo you can only build two staffs
With the Lightning staff, do you have to turn the dials until they stop sparking? Also, do they turn with X?

Relaxing, which staff is the best in your opinion?
There is an low risk, earlier reward way to go about this. You can get the staffs built by round 11 or 12, so you can do the upgrade puzzles for ice, wind, and lightning that round, place them on their podiums, then grab the fire and by completing its puzzle you will have upgraded the others. Then on round 14 you can upgrade fire. At least that's how I do it Haha

Once my friends and I completed master wizard, a fifth staff place appeared. Under the excavation site there is the purple,yellow,red holders etc. But a fifth white one appeared in front of them all? What is the fifth staff?

I have trouble getting the ice staff parts and the lightning staff parts.
Ice doesn't always come early and the lightning is hard and time consuming solo

No they go back where all staffs are and you can take it any time but its still has the same ammo if you swap it.

So doing all that extra stuff after you have crafted the staffs' does what... Make them stronger?
