The handling of it was weird af tho, keeping so quiet about an obvious issue that a portion of the fan base turned on kwon….. those comments sucked to see. And i know the good good boys say those rude comments about kwon and they still chose to keep quiet for weeks. I know there’s no love lost between the channel members but the fans need a wake up call
@@CITRUS-- I think good good needs a wake up call, they need to figure out their model and keep top tier talent. But thats the thing, its hard to keep teams together when people are more talented than others and money is involved.

I think this was planned from the beginning where Kwon would come on for a bit then do his own thing after a bit. Nice to see it end amicably

This was a proper send off. No drama or rumors. Kwon came back from a gruesome injury early in his goodgood entry and never looked back. This is how you do a goodbye and classy way to do it.
Meet this guy when he was a pro playing the Latam tour in Colombia like 3 years ago and since then I’ve been a fan… not just because of his game, but due to his way of being, kinda and down to earth… I really wish both the best (good good and Luke), I’ll be cheering for everyone

@@lauriemorgan9083 In all of the cases, this one included, Good Good was not willing to offer a contract that was valuable enough to make them stay. Business is business it just means a partnerships was no longer mutually beneficial (however, in my opinion, Good Good should have paid up).

You could kind of tell with his emotion and energy through his channel and good goods channel. Everyone was already assuming it was happening and that he was going to leave.

Dang. Luke revolutionized Good Good. He was the reason they started handicapping their “majors” which really improved the product. I felt like he was too good for them at first, but he really elevated the play of the entire group. He also is just good on camera, a talented entertainer, and a great personality. The group is really going to miss that. Best of luck moving forward Luke. Thanks for all the videos.

This makes complete sense. I'm happy for Luke taking control of his life and not afraid to do what's best for him. He's older, had a plan in mind before GG and now wants to get back on that path. Most of GG are still mid 20s, having fun with GG. Nothing wrong with moving on if its not what you want anymore. It was handled WAY better than Grant and Micahs departure, but that was just all immaturity. Wish you the best Luke, I'll still be watching your videos.

First of all, this is the way to leave a channel. Yeah it hurts but anyone over thirty knows life moves on; it’s a natural progression. Second, they will all eventually have to make the same decision as they get older, get married, have kids, find new interests. There is nothing wrong with change. At least this one wasn't an out-of-nowhere announcement like with Grant. Most diehard GG fans anticipated this and at least Luke was willing to do a final video with the guys where he addressed the reasons head-on.
Grant was underpaid and overworked. Now he’s doing much much better, he made the right decision. He didn’t owe anyone a “final” episode, it’s not that serious haha it’s a golfing CZcams channel.

@@cj4298 Kwon has been checked out for the last couple months and it became very evident the videos that followed. Barely interacting with the group on film (especially Garrett), missing videos to travel and film his own content, negative sarcastic attitude. The writing was on the wall :(

Luke came in, played some great golf, and found his calling was elsewhere. Nothing but love for this guy and best of luck in the future! Great way to send off a member of the channel, with another match of golf. Good Good should collaborate with all of it's former members to mend relations and bring back old memories. Stroke play is a competition against yourself at the end of the day.
G and the fellas are going to cook up something special next. I can feel it. It’s no coincidence how well the departing members develop while in GG, and in this space, and then go out to do their own thing. A lot of it is due to the great company these guys have built in Good Good. I’m happy for Luke and I’m excited to see what Garret and the boys cook up next. Cheers boys!

I think it just becomes a time thing. Once you get to a certain point, opportunities start to arise, and being apart of GG he probably has a number of time obligations that may lead to him turning down opportunities. At some point those opportunities likely start to come with a cost and they have to weigh the cost of what they might want to be doing vs what they are currently doing
