Excited for my first QP match this month in Dilley! Thanks for the heads up on equipment needs.

I don't shoot in matches, I had enough with ama paintball for 15yrs. What type of ammo/gr do you shoot? Clear concise video!

Honest question, what about kestrel and range finder?

I’m interested in trying to catch a match in general purpose division later this year. I have never competed in any rifle match, and am wondering which you would recommend for your average QP course of fire, a 1-8x FFP or 1-10x SFP. I guess I’m really wondering if ranging is enough of a necessity to require the ffp or could you get away with the sfp. My only Lvpo is a 1-6 and it’s probably time for an upgrade anyway, and I will need all the help I can get. Thanks for any advice.

You will see some advantages if you are changing the magnification a lot with FFP. The holds stay true but many people have shot it with SFP optics.
My vote is come and shoot it with what you have, find the weak points then buy from there.

Rules state 100 rounds needed, maybe less. Any chance you would need or could use more? Basically, how many should one bring if they expect to not to be competitive but get all the experience they can? Thanks

As much as you can afford. Realistically though, if it's like other gas gun matches, most stages are going to have a timer. I wouldn't bring too much more ammo than the 100 rounds they suggest. "Accuracy by volume of fire" is just a bad way to try to compete. Getting your hits matters. If you can do it fast, even better.

Who makes that small barricade bag that straps onto the handguard?
