I am so excited to share with you the final results of my boutique. The design has been a vision of mine for so long and it is amazing to see it come to life.
It has been about a month since I officially opened my store from when I recorded this.

Congrats on your store. As a luxury retail veteran (nearly 20 years with Saks) I'm always excited to see young women entrepreneurs. You have great taste, your assortment looks good and the store is very tastefully done. A little advice for safety purposes and liability iexposure make sure the fitting room mirrors have safety mounts that adhere them to the walls, although they're very very cute the rugs in the fitting rooms are a tripping hazard either tape them down or remove them (I strongly suggest removing them, they're very thick, you'd want something with sborter pile to reduce tripping hazard). Lastly, secure the router off the floor and secure the cords behind the cash wrap. Consider adding 1-2 face out fixture to break up all the horizontal display lines. Best wishes!!

One thing. I can’t seem to find a true guide on what “permits” or licenses you needed to pull for Brick & Mortar. I know it varies from state to state but if you could share your story, I personally would really appreciate it!
You need a DBA, which I think you get at your town hall no matter what the state. You need to register you business with the Irs. And if you are constructing you will need to pull permits with your town hall as well. Contact your town hall and ask them what you will need

I ordered 60x48
For this size atleast you need to make sure you have a low enough ceiling to attach the stick part. With out it will be to heavy!

can you explain in depth how your fitting room rods and curtains work with dropped ceilings? the only thing im aware of is that dropped ceilings arent that sturdy and cannot take much weight, how did you/your bf go about that concern?
Hi the rod that goes up to the ceiling I believe we attached to a pipe above the drop ceiling

I just brought it up for Christmas time and brought it down to my storage in January!
How many square feet is your store and how much did you spend on inventory to fill it?
on the top is about 740 Sq ft and I don't have an exact number but about 15k I believe, that was also with some items that I didn't put up right away to.

and the bottoms is the LACK coffee table ( just didnt add the bottom shelf)
