  • We tried out an ancient way of making a fence/privacy screen using what was available to us on the land - it's free & easy to make, it has served it's purpose brilliantly!!
Poppy is getting ideas on how to renovate/update the caravan...
Next episode, Ryan will talk about how we're going to get power to the caravan!

Greetings from Korea.... Love your outlook and optimism, encapsuled in you saying, "everything is so improvable!" Can't wait to see all the projects ahead.

Those little sticks on the ground are great for composting down to improve the soil, same with the leaves, etc. We have a problem at a family members house of mine of having dead soil, because of bad landscaping practice that left much of it deprived of nutrients and compost. Just a warning from my own experience haha!

We're trying to slowly bring nutrients back into the soil, purely by just letting leaves and such fall naturally onto it without interfering! Already there's a wealth of wild plants growing from where they had never grown before. I want to get some seeds to plant a permanent ground cover though. This is in a shadowy place under a big pine, and where we thought there could never be growth, Mother Nature has proven us wrong if only we let her work her magic haha!

Hello :) We'll do a video about this in the not too distant future covering this topic off as we're getting quite a few questions come through asking the same thing. To start off though, google 'planning permission uk'. Wales has different planning permissions to England which is interesting.
