I just purchased my Tamron 28-75/f2.8 and will be using it for my shoots this weekend. I have it on a crop sensor Sony A6500 and the test shots I have taken around the house are fire. I love the versatility of the zoom range. They are not as sharp as my Sigma prime lens, but having one lens for a photoshoot where we are moving around a lot will be very handy! Great lens for both fullframe and crop sensors for a very fair price! Also, military folks, My Exchange now sells the Tamron 28-75/f2.8 and the Tamron 17-28/f2.8 online so it's tax free!

I like the rapid review. It gets straight to the point. No fluff. I wonder if the new Tamron 28-200 f/2.8 - 5.6 will make this one obsolete...

Obsolete? I don't know, maybe the quality won't be that good because it's a longer zoom, but probably is going to make the 28-75 a bit cheaper :D

I see my man branding the videos. I like it! Also probably one of the best lenses I’ve owned. Only reason I sold. I have the 16-35gm & 70-200gm and I want some primes with my wedding and portrait work.

I like it, straight on point. I was thinking about this lens but was worried about the Auto Focus. But i have a 50mm 1.8 so i think this shoild be much better! Thanks man. Now i need this and 85mm. If you get a chance, do a review on Sony 85mm 1.8. Interesting to see how it does on Sony 7m2

How does the auto focus compare to zeiss 24-70 f4 auto focus on A7II? Is it close?

Would the AF be faster if it was running say A7III or later series?
