My wife has a collection of these! She was so proud to show me them. She was born in 1985, myself in 1986! But she has a lot of the originals and is freaking out while watching this! Thank you for putting a smile on her face!

He's like here goes mommy talking to that little box she sometimes holds up to her head and talks into sometimes and sometimes mommy gives me treats and toys while she's talking to that little box, dang it no treats today stupid box, Lol. 😂🤣❤🐶🍖
I'm a couple years older and never really got into the cards but my younger sister and brother loved them. I remember them well and it was fun just seeing how the old compared to the new ones. Thanks for sharing 👍

I had a niece that loved these I couldn't understand why but then I was in my teens thinking I was too grown up for kids stuff. I'll have to tell her they are back she'll be so excited! Its fun to watch your enthusiasm! I hope you enjoy your new cards. 😀
Yes you really had to be a certain age to have liked these as kids. Though as an adult I get the jokes more. Lol.

Cool seeing the old cards. I used to buy them for my daughter. Some of the older ones are quite collectible and worth some money so make sure to hang on to them! I just saw an auction where one card was $100. I can’t remember which card though.

I was born in 77 so garbage pail kid cards were soooo part of my childhood. I wish I would have saved mine. You are sitting on a gold mine there girl! At least I think that you are. So cool!

I was 5 to 15 during the 80s and loved lived loved Garbage pail Kids but didn't have a patent that kept them for me. Omg I wish I would have. I will now turn 46 next month and I will start collecting again because of you reminding how much fun and how much I love them! Thank you so much yours are great!
I really am so lucky my dad did that. I don't even think I got all the humor back then like I do now.
It's funny everybody's garbage pail kids collection always starts at the 2nd series because the 1st series is rare, I'm 43 and collected these as a kid in the 80's and now I've been on Ebay buying them all back....I think the amazing artwork on the cards is what draws you in , somebody told me these were actually Topps all time best selling cards above football, baseball ect...
This sparked my love for these cards again!! I gotta get the new ones!

0:44 Came back in 2003 under "All New Series 1" which included most of the unreleased 16th series artwork from 1989.
Awesome video !! I still have the full original set series 1 to 15 in a binder. If memory serves the reason the later series look different is because the cabbage patch company sued Topps and they had to change the cards to make them look less like cabbage patch dolls lol.

There awesome, I’ve had cards from my childhood maybe 30 of them. Recently while in a fleamarket I came across around 90 original garbage pail kids …so now I’m hooked even bought a trapper keeper . Awesome collection you have

I was a bit too old for the Garbage Pail Kids .... I used to collect scraps 💗 loved buying a pack of scraps every Saturday with my pocket money and spent ages making up pictures and stories with them
I don't think I remember those but I guess I was all about these then.
wow when you picked up the binder and showed an original set from 86 not a reprint but the actual real cards my mouth hit my floor, I know this video from the time of me posting is already over a year old but I just found it, and I can say something in me also has kind of woken up and now i'm on my hunt for garbage pail kids, thank you for sharing, great video
edit: // I noticed something at 23:20 when you held up finger neil, it has a splash of green around the border, then I watched the whole video again and a few of the new cards have special borders, I believe those are like gold nuggets in the packs, special collector type not just the regular style, you might have something special there, look them up :)
I had so much fun and memories popping up as you showed us those, it took me a few days to decide if I wanted to watch this, but I can't NOT watch one of your videos, so I finally did and I had forgotten , how many of those I had as a kid, and how many I was obcessed with😂 as you were showing them I was like Opp theres that one , omg I had that. my husband thought I had gone bonkers.🤭. anyway Ty for such a great video❤

I remember my sons got these but it was upsetting to my sweet daughter. The boys had to keep them in their bedroom so they would not scare her. I found out later that she had nightmares that her cabbage patch doll would turn evil...that's what her brothers told her. Parenthood is crazy hard😘

I should put them in an album...the stack is almost 5 inches tall!! lol. I was obsessed too Melissa!!!! Hahaha. I'm only about 3 years older than you...

I had cabbage patch kids and garbage pal kids too I loved them. I still have my cabbage patch kids dolls they are about 42 years old, my granddaughter still play with them.

Girl, we the same age lol I was 6 in 1986 as well. I LOVE GPK!!! I don't still have the ones I had back then, sadly, but I did pick up a set of like 50 or 75 cards of the newer sets. I need MORE! LOL
