50mpg incredible! if you can snap your fingers and the whole earth drives a Honda hybrid. no bs EV that would decrease oil usage by 50% over night. Honda has the answer
This is the perfect car. Good HP, great interior, tried and true hybrid system. Great car overall for essentially anyone. Great sneak peak review as always my friend
As a driver who loves my 2023 Civic SI, I just wish they would've made this AWD like what Toyota did with the Corolla, Camry and Prius. In cold weather using winter tires, my traction on dry pavement is sub-par under part throttle.
The Honda interior has the best and most premium appearance at its price point. But they need to follow VW and get the navigation on the dash screen. VW has the best nav system on the market period.
What’s the weight of the Hybrid Civic after adding 2 electric motors and a battery? 200 HP and extra torque may not be “zippy” depending on how many lbs this gained…
@RaitisRides well thanks for the review. But I just looked up the msrp and a Hybrid Sport Touring is $33k plus destination along with bs "port fees" and we're at $35 plus tax and reg and fees and approaching $40k otd...for a Civic
What they don’t tell you in all their media hype is that Homelink is gone and you have to “SUBSCRIBE” to something to open the garage door from the touch screen. No thanks.
So disappointed they didn't get rid of that ugly grill thing inside the car. I don't want to look at that. Maybe next time they redo it. This one is not a fav. for me.
Significantly more expensive is the new Camry. Tops out around $44K top trim + all (real) packages that add actual essential features to a lot of people. I’m not referring to “hurrr durrr protection package” or something similar.
Until it breaks down out of warranty, battery won't last past 100, 150k miles .. ill take my ICE until they master electric without hybrid garbage. My 2022 civic touring hatch is perfectly fine and not a problem with it. Gas is still very respectable.
@@AnnoyinglyCharmingI mean, not really. The CX-90 tops out at around upper $60’s. Plus, Toyota and Honda tend to coast on their name. If you look into Mazda, they’ve been doing some really good things.
@@Joseabh24 now that’s your problem. Looking at cars only in terms of how long they last. Mazda cars are meant to be driven. Their cars handle like sports cars, their small and mid SUV’s handle like sedans and their large suv handles like a crossover. The Civic people know the center console is a good place for Twinkies.
Newports*. For the hood
With the hybrid trim, this might be the best compact car for both performance, MPG, and overall appearance.
That is a good thing to point out!
50mpg incredible! if you can snap your fingers and the whole earth drives a Honda hybrid. no bs EV that would decrease oil usage by 50% over night. Honda has the answer
Yes, hybrid is the answer, not EV
My 2020 civic turbo averages 38 mpg. I would think the Hybrid would do better than 50.
Lol Prius has been hybrid king
50mpg if you drive like a grandma, 90% of the people have a heavy foot which, gets you 35 mpg.
@@theshield1613 More like 47 but yeah.
Basically perfect. The cockpit is 10/10.

Hey Joe, did you ever figure out who the heck ate your box of twinkies?😅
lol fr
This will be the best seller
I love this. My 2019 Si gets 42ish usually and the spirited driving is hard to give up right now.
Wish they still made coupes
The sedan exclusive color speaks to me, but I want a hatch and rear wiper.
I also wanted fog lights and a pano roof. I also wanted more distinction. I guess I can't have it all.

So basically an accord hybrid with a smaller screen
Hatchback hybrid not available on accord
accord are uglier and heavier
The interior looks more quality than BMW and Benz
Nice car, love the styling, probably going to get one
Honda Civic hybrid is back! Im sold
The Honda interior has the best and most premium appearance at its price point. But they need to follow VW and get the navigation on the dash screen. VW has the best nav system on the market period.
Got to admit it looks pretty sweet. Just like Raiti eating Twinkies in the back seat making magic.
Is the honda's hybrid and HE.v is a same thing?
Now they just need to stop making it look like an Accord.
The Civic looks way better then the Accord.
Not going to happen, Honda designers aren't that innovative.
Japanese designers are very conservative. That’s why the 2025 Toyota Camry is designed by an American.
Love the color on that car
Looks good- except the exterior.
still a cvt transmission?
Same price as the new Camry...😬
nicer than Corolla Hybrid🤔
And bigger
Depends on the price. If it only has Sport and Touring trims over $30k I will pass.
Starts at almost $5k more than the Corolla Hybrid.
Fantastico!
Hi do you have any idea on MSRP for the 2025 Sport non hybrid? Will this trim get different rims and will the chrome exhaust tip still be there?
$27,3 plus $1k for destination...
Will Honda allow the Civic Si to be slower than the standard Civic? It's already barely quicker.
They might just remove the Si. However the Si is a few hundred pounds lighter.
What is GooGoo maps?
I miss the 2022 rims
What's the retail?
38k for top trim on Honda Canada website. 43999 at my local dealer
No thanks
How much $ ?
30+k and up
Looks like a great civic, but I'm disappointed in the colors available. C'mon man.... Why are car colors so boring lately?
What’s the weight of the Hybrid Civic after adding 2 electric motors and a battery? 200 HP and extra torque may not be “zippy” depending on how many lbs this gained…
6200 lbs
Feather weight. 😅
Wow beautiful
My only fear, it will cost $35k for a nice one
It actually doesn't! I posted the drive review!

Does it still come in manual? Like the regular non Si/Type R trims?
No
@@meganbuse9429 dang. That’s sussy. I bet they offer base civics in manual in other countries like EU.

I hate the display is not built into the dashboard.

Only 8k above MSRP!

this would compare to a Corolla not a Camry
far superior to the Corolla and prius. however not the SE camry for overall value.
Its not comparable to camry bruh
How much?????
For the top trim spec which it’s the sport touring being showcased it’s $31,750
Goo goo maps
I don’t know why i feel that the Japanese cars are old fashioned in technology ( not mechanical)
Bro you might as well have a Twinkie’s deal by now
I wish that is for sure!

200k+ miles is average for Prius battery
Now make it a wagon. Or at least bring the Accord wagon to North America!
Old civic looks more cool❤
Liking my 2015 alot better then this so 10 yrs later it looks blahhh
I’m disappointed they don’t have ventilated seats on the top trims. Lame
How much is it ?
44k after mark-up im in the process ( or was ) of buying one
Having to pay to use the navigation after 3 years is total BS
Can u just not pay it and not have the functionality? I use Google maps for everything anyway.
Better than corolla
Can they please make it a manual? Is that possible
It's sexy.
Not sure I like the digital cluster
Yeah, that front is still ugly.
Doesnt even knw the car but makes video..
What are you even talking about?
Honda always look basic and generic.
Mazda 3 is much better looking nd beautiful nd sporty ,
Civic copied Mazda 3 in Bose sound but civic does not drive like 3
mazdas are for people who can't afford Honda and Toyota tho
