Here is a quote from Muhammad Ali. “ Elvis was the sweetest, most humble and one of the nicest men you’ve ever want to meet” Ali said at the funeral of Elvis in Memphis. “I felt a great loss when I heard of the death of my friend Elvis Presley.”

Ray I would not keep addressing the haters because you give them the attention they want since they are sad and shallow people. Having grown up during the Elvis era, he was one-of-a-kind in the best ways. Great entertainer/performer and an even better human being who cared about those hurting. Enough said.

I love Myrna. She was the most loyalist person to Elvis and he repaid her with ❤❤❤. They had a very close relationship on and off tge stage. He took her on family vacations and invited her to Graceland. She lived at his LA home in the 70s and help to raise Lisa Marie and became her godmother.

A couple more details from all of the ladies in the Sweet Inspirations....Elvis was especially shaken by Sylvia's health news because she was the mother of two young children. We all know how he felt about mothers & children & the possible loss of a mother.
He prayed so fervently that he was crying.
They've also said he called around (different cities) to find out who the best doctors were for Sylvia to go to & follow up with. I think the doctor she saw the next day (or however soon it was) was one Elvis had immediately lined up for her to see.
As for the angelic aspect of the story & your comment that Elvis was half Angel & half human...another of The Sweets, Estelle Brown, has said several times that she considered Elvis an Angel on Earth & compared him to the TV show "Touched By An Angel".
She was in The Sweet Inspirations & with Elvis from the 1st Vegas show in 1969 to the day he passed in 1977.
Eight years of rehearsals, concerts, behind the scenes. She saw Elvis at his best & when he had occasionally erratic behavior toward the end as his health declined. She's always considered him as good a human being as you can be. And still does to this day. That says a lot about & for Elvis.
Elvis obviously cared a great deal about the people who worked for him & with him (& race didn't matter one whit). Just one of a million reasons to love him.

I met Myrna Smith a few years before she passed. After a Elvis in Concert production at the Mohegan Sun Casino in CT where the TCB band performed with large video screens of Elvis, as close to an actual Elvis concert that I ever got, she was very nice and I told her she was my favorite Sweet. Elvis wasn't big on organized religion but he did believe in God and was very spiritual. He searched constantly for answers to life and why we're here. Whatever human faults he had I truly believe he was pure of heart. Thanks for your search for the truth.

People want to hold onto their negative, false narratives because they want to hate and they don't want to be wrong. They'd rather hold onto a hateful, false position based solely in slander than change their minds. It's more comfortable and convenient that way and it's easier to swim downstream if they are surrounded by others haters who don't know the truth or refuse to look into it and accept it.

I've always said that Elvis was touched by God in a way to work through him. Human too but God always uses imperfect people in his special missions. Elvis was and is through the love that still is strong. When u visit. Best time in August at Elvis week each year to the 16th of his anniversary, you'll see it. People all over the world. Those documentaries are so important to fight all the hate on the internet. Thank you so much for showing them!💚☀️💚
The most shocking experience I had, was with a channel specially for coloured people, with about 1000 000 subscribers.
They tried to proof that Elvis was racist with wrong statements, no research and a guy ( Quincy Jones) that heard from others about EP.
You can't imagine how much hate there was in the comments.
Fun fact :the guidelines for the comment section were like:
-share this video with 5 people and like the v.
    - be respectful
So I can imagine, we are going to fight against this racist rumour for ever ...
    Anyway...
I wish you the most beautiful date and thank you again for your beautiful work!💚💚💚

HAVE A HAPPY DATE RAY 💜💖🌹🎥💜💖🌹😊
AND THANK YOU EVER SO MUCH FOR MAKING ME LOL 😄 IN A GOOD WAY OF COURSE 🌻💛👍
Yes, Elvis grew up in the Pentecostal church in the South. He believed in faith healing through prayer.
Larry Gellar, one of Elvis's friends, talked about the spiritual side of Elvis and what he believed could be achieved through faith and prayer.
There is also a very well done documentary titled "Lead Me Guide Me: The Gospel Side Of Elvis". It's something like 2 hours long. You can watch it on your own time Ray, if you are interested (it is available to watch here on YT last I checked).
I could recommend a whole list of Elvis documentaries 😂
When I went down that Elvis Rabbit Hole, well, let's just say unlike Alice, I stayed down the Elvis Rabbit Hole 😉
Anyways, I shall provide a link to Elvis Talks w/ Sweet Inspirations + "Words" 1970 Las Vegas Rehearsal (6:05 long) here: m.czcams.com/video/aKDhmp9Ygcs/video.html

There is also a story told by Jerry Schilling - he had somehow messed up his back and was barely able to move. Elvis came into his room (Jerry was living at Graceland) and asked if he could help. Jerry was on his stomach, and Elvis laid his hands on his back. I'd have to go back to be sure, but memory states that while the pain wasn't completely resolved, it became manageable. I am not sure I'd credit Elvis with outright miracles, but there was certainly something there.

Elvis showed what he thought of money in the way he used what he earned. If he could not do good with it, or bring happiness with it, or make the road a little easier with it, then it had no value. In other words, he was one of those rare individuals who could not be bought or bribed. I think it would have been impossible for him to bend to that kind of pressure, or to break his loyalty to his people. No wonder he wrestled with his purpose in life...entertaining or evangelizing. Imagine feeling the power of God flow through you to another person. Elvis gave more than money. Money was the least important thing. Elvis gave of himself what God had given him. We remember you Elvis, and we love you...still. (Judy C)

The more you hear about Elvis the more you will love him. I know because I am a fan for 4 years and read so many good comments about Elvis giving and so many videos of his faults I just started reading book after book about him. Those video that say bad things about him are not mostly not true from the books I have read. I think Elvis tried to give everything he had away but the Bible says give and it shall be given. Elvis could not out give God. Just my opinion.

There"s no doubt that Elvis was blessed...To have the incredible talent, looks , charisma and success that Elvis had, I believe you have to be touched by God. So, did God give the miracle that he asked for in prayer? Who knows ? But to be diagnosed with cancer one moment , and then to have the. Cancer suddenly disappear, That has to make you wonder.

The Colonel must’ve lost his mind when Elvis said that. He would’ve lost his 50% .

I dont know if I shared this with you yet but please watch this video. Its during a concert of Elvis' with J.D. Sumner and The Stamps quartet.. Watch Elvis's face and how he feels every word of this song and how it touches him.. I adore this video and have watched it so many times since finding it.. Sweet Sweet Spirit czcams.com/video/VjpNAghMKUk/video.htmlsi=RKaUTcArkYk7rIO7
Thank you for sharing this video, I had never heard of that first part, how beautiful. I agree with you, Elvis was an angle walking amongst us.
The second part I knew about from the video Elvis and the Black Community, that echo will never die.. He was so strong in his beliefs that he stood up to anyone for them.. THAT is strength.

czcams.com/video/HjvkJTLdR28/video.html This is their self-titled song. It is worth a listen. At Elvis' live shows, they would warm up the audience with this song. The Sweet inspirations were called the east coast version of the Blossoms (Darlene Love's girl group) who Elvis also worked with.

More than a thousand books have been written about Elvis.Almost every book was filled with lies. Those around him, his associates, friends, employees, the Memphis Mafia, etc, did not know everything about him.In fact, he did not confide in those people. He was a very private man, and like al.lof us, we do not confide in everyone. We select just a few.Elvis did not bare his soul and problems to anyone who would listen. But a handful knew the real Elvis and many of his personal probllems. His confidants were Charlie Hodge, to a large degree, Billy and Jo Smith, May Mann, Larry Gellar,, and Kathy Westmoreland with a very few others.Joe Esposito and Billy Smith confirmed that Elvis did not confide in the Memphis Mafia.Be careful in believing what you read and then believe about Elvis.Much of it will be fabricated like in the Priscilla movie and Baz Elvis movie. His confidants say just that..bunch of. lies
