that's because Lincoln never made one !! .. a body shop just cut the roof off - added some bondo - and ruined the car !! .. the body & frame wasn't designed this way - it has too much "flex" now .. in a few years - the entire car bends & sways with each turn
I always wonder how well those "modified convertibles" work. This is not factory. It was converted by a custom house. Did they reinforce the body? Does it leak like a sieve? Is thecar going to "settle" from lack of strutural support?
Now that I read the whole thing, this is even worse. There is no top. Therefore they most likely did not reinforce the body. That car will fold in half.
@@markhellman-pn3hn yes true but the under side needs to be reinforced so that the car is not loses the integrity once you chop the top!! Otherwise the car would feel like all over the road.

Beautiful car. I don't think I've ever seen a Mark V convertible. But with most convertibles, if you roll it, you die.
