    Huh, interesting he finds D'Addario strings so durable - I play guitar, not bass, but I won't buy D'Addario strings because they rust out within a month or two. I've had much better luck with Dunlop in terms of durability and they sound the same to me.
    No idea why they rust out so quickly. I must sweat seawater haha.

      I used to hate D'Addario for the same reason, and I used to use Ernie Ball because they would last me forever, but I checked out the NYXLs and they were leaps and bounds ahead of the standard nickel wounds

      Buy the NYXLs. I used to be die hard for Ernie Ball and I got a pack of NYXLs with a wound 3rd from a buddy and never looked back. They last forever.

      This was filmed in the winter. Stepping outside wouldn't have been idea. Unfortunately, these videos are filmed under extreme time constraints.
