I can understand the negatives but in my opinion these events are all about the people...yes you can test and buy fragrances but the highlight is the people you have the chance to meet, maybe once in a lifetime. I sincerely hope to be able to come next year!
I was there and it was terrible. Honestly it was unorganized and unprofessional. I bought 2 VIP tickets for 310 dollars and didn't feel like a VIP. No samples that's what I call false advertising. It was so unorganized I was shocked and will never be attending again
I'm sorry you had a less than stellar experience. It certainly wasn't perfect and there are aspects that definitely need improving in the future. However, I felt they did a great job coming off 2 yrs of being virtual. And I know many were disappointed about the samples, especially knowing that virtual attendees had gotten their's. I'm still not sure what happened but I've been told that they have plans to rectify that. Thanks for your honest input!
@@scentremix6201 My point is if your not truly prepared then don't have the event. I am a business owner and I own 425 niche fragrances between me and my wife. We were shocked at the venue space it was so hot in temperature and very uncomfortable. I spoke with Max Forti and explained how I felt that the event was not fulfilling it's advertising and that I thought the fragrance companies were very unprofessional and stingy with no samples and the discounts were very stingy as will each table should have been at least 30 to 35 percent off. It was a terrible event. I will say this I spent 2,500 on 6 fragrances at Saks I have a good contact there and I got 30 samples thrown in. That's respect
I totally understand your frustration and you certainly have valid points. I'm choosing to look at it this way... Even with careful preparation, things can go awry. And like with most things in life, it ends up being a "learn as you go" type of thing. I'm sure a lot of those failings will be corrected next go round. Personally, I was there for the experience, the discovery and the people and was able to walk away feeling good on all counts. Quite honestly, I am so backlogged on samples, I didn't even care that I didn't get any (other than the ones I received with my purchase). So... I guess bottom line is that some things and situations are simply what you personally choose to make of them.
@@rosssss397 Most of these fragrances reviewers are going to back each other up. It's a big disaster that event they handled it very unprofessional and these fragrance companies treat us like we walked in free like a Macy's or Sephora. Never go again it was false advertising

Same feeling bro! I got nothing at the event only empty paper bags . Very disappointed! We should ask for our money back!
