I’m 19 and Victor’s story is simply euphoric… there is so much pressure from peers to make quick money in an ungodly and illegal manner e.g. through scamming people… but vic really shows that with the right hustle and work rate you should not despise humble beginnings but use it as a medium to show that great things start small. Victor has really been getting better and better over the years, and the progress from Lille to Napoli has been good. It's incredible to hear that story of him, and that just shows that hard work pays off, and if you put the work in life GOD will give back to you. He is inspiring me to become the best human being I can be, even when if it gets tough or difficult in life. It would be amazing to win his shirt. Victor reminds me of Alphonso Davies. From where they come, everything is thrown against them but they both fought their way through and jumped all hurdles to reach where they are at now. Truly inspiring and encouraging. The work ethic is just incredible.
When Victor talked about being proud of money you've made yourself no matter how little, I felt it. Most of our young Naija youth need to have that mentality. Nothing is as satisfying and sweet as what you've made from your hardwork. The stress is on "your". Keep getting better man. In you I see future ballon d'or shortlist and our future capitan when of course King Ekon joins our coaching crew.
Am I the one who enjoys seeing these camaraderie by our players. I just watch these videos and smile non-stop in my room. I remember watching victor at the u17 WC, he was playing like he was ready to die on the pitch, I think he scored like 10 goals or more ,you could tell he was coming from a real hard place and wasn't gonna let this opportunity pass him by,from cleaning gutters to a superstar, so happy for him.

I remember watching Osimhen in the under 17 world cup , I saw a boy with drive and passion for the game which ultimately led to Nigeria 5th u17 world title , Osimhen has really inspired young nigerian and youth that anything is possible, regardless of your background you can still come out on top and also be the best in the world at whatever thing you do. I met Victor at the airport some time ago and i approached him and asked if he has any advice for me as a footballer,he told me that he doesn't believe in talent but hardwork and that inspired me to push harder than i ever have. I lost my mum when I was 12 so I can relate with victor's story very well especially when he said "nothing is promised", Victor's hunger for goals and success is a big source of inspiration for me cos you could see the passion and hard work he puts into his game.
I've been a fan of him since the U17 in 2015 and I always try as much as possible to stream his matches since when he signed for Lille, I usually make sure I don't miss any match he plays nowadays and I've also become a Napoli fan because of him.
I would really appreciate his jersey and I'll take it as a convocation gift after my 5 years of hard work in school, my convocation is on the 23rd of October.

Been a Rangers session ticket holder for 8 years something I love is finding out a new side of the Rangers players that I wouldn’t normally see
Victor has been a motivation since the days I watched him play for the under 17, where he was banging goals and bullying defenders(He made me become a bully to defenders also) I’m a striker in Lagos myself, I live in ojota and I know the struggles we aspiring footballers go through. I played once at where he used to train and I know how inspiring he is to everybody there, he’s the reason why most of us are still hopeful of becoming pro footballers. Personally for me he inspires me with his passion and his hunger to play and score. That has been the major push for me not to ever give up and keep working hard. Victor really inspired me in all aspect of my life, whenever I watch him play and celebrated, it is a big motivation to me. Sometimes i feel like giving up but his story makes me believe more in myself, if victor could move from selling pure water to the most expensive African player of all time then I could do better. I wouldn’t say it’s a typical naija thing to go through hard times, we all have our stories but victor has really gone against the odds, faced with such difficulties it reminds of the time I was playing to go pro, I was(I still am) suffering from herniated disc(L5) on my right leg which caused my foot to drop, I sure wasn’t ready to let go of the dream, so I started putting my left leg to work(with the feint like Messi lol big fan), I knew I wasn’t going pro with the left, it just didn’t feel natural, but I feel good about myself for putting that much work for love of the game, well I’m in college now and I managed to make my departmental team just in my first year, but learning about Victor’s story it giving me the guts to go for something even better, the school team, if I could win the jersey, I would prolly frame it, and if I’m faced with difficulties and I look at the jersey, only one message will be relayed to me....”NEVER SETTLE FOR LESS!!”
