It's so sad that this series is ending but there are always more fun series to watch in the future. And yes I know that this isn't the final episode but still.

Nope, the customer won't buy it. The request or necessity will still be unfulfilled. As contradictory of a comment, they want a T1 and T1 only.
I'm pretty sure they're gonna fix the sentence at some point.

2:03 If you swing a shovel hard enough, it can LITERALLY take someone’s head off. It can also be sharpened much more than a pickax, which could also get stuck while you get bitten, stabbed, etc.
Of course, a spear/polearm is preferable since it’s entirely a combat weapon and has great reach.
Edit: You are probably dead with either a shovel or pickaxe, as neither have much reach, and you’ll probably be poisoned (is venomed a word?) because of it.
If these dwarves follow the stereotype of loving alcohol and being able to drink pretty much anyone else under the table, I have to assume that they have some kind of innate poison resistance or otherwise very, *very* powerful livers.

Depends a bit. Shovels are probably a little easier to sharpen than picks, but they're unlikely to retain their edge for any meaningful amount of time after you dig with them. And some fantasy settings will give giant insects extra hard carapaces akin to actual armor, in which case a focused, piercing attack from a pickaxe will do you a lot more good than a swing from a shovel which will distribute the force more even if you have good edge alignment with said shovel. You run the risk of getting stuck with both tools, though the risk is higher with the pickaxe, but if you get in a good swing and you either are only fighting one or two, or if you have allies with you, it's not particularly risky
Just a tip i learned with haggling, the distance from each points are in increments therefore the closer points have the same distance from each other. You could just tap it like a guitar hero game, if theres 3 short tags side by side, just tap it 3 times in rhythm without needing to look. The speed of the rhythm increases as the difficulty increases.
I still recommend looking tho just in case

While the oil map is good to save on ingredients because the distance is smaller its actually harder to traverse, i find it easier to match specific requirements on the water map.

2:00 shovels were one of the main killers in trench warfare. Since they were very versatile. You can easily knock someone down with a swing, put it on their chest and.... did you know that the best way to dig a hole with a shovel is to put the front edge in the ground and step or jump on the back side of the scoop. It easily penetrates the ground and can sometimes damage small rocks or sticks that are in the way.
Pickaxe is actually less useful, although the damage from a hit with the tip of the pick can deal tons of damage, it can much more easily become lodged in any surface it penetrates and requires much more precision to land a blow. Pickaxes are best on hard rock and the like because in soft materials they are more likely to get stuck to the material, where as with stone it is more brittle and less likely to be sticky.
Shovels were more versatile with less training. Anyone can hoist a shovel and put a hole in the... Ground. But a well made pick or mattock needs some familiarity in how to drive the point efficiently. And it would take less overt effort to make a point break... Stone... Than the broad edge of a shovel.
In other words, be afraid of a man using a shovel, run from the one who mains a pick.
i would guess that you can also behead someone with a powerful enough shovel swing ( or 2 ), they can get very sharp.

It would be nice if there was a "hidden" tier 4 potion which you can only get by not adding water, like there is a few specific combinations that line the X up perfectly at the centre of a potion with no water.

9:45 you could have used the salt when you used the stink mushroom since it would make it move in a much better direction since you had to add some at some point anyway to get a tier 3
Since potion effects are overriden you could start the ass pains with a tier 3 to get a heads up
Fighting spiders, which is better, a shovel or pickaxe?
Pickaxe:
•faster and more aerodynamic swing, can also pack more of a punch
○very small surface area to hit the target with and easier to get stuck in the ground
Shovel:
•Wider area to hit the target, less likely to get stuck
○slower swing speed and has "safe spots" where the shovel curves, making it more unreliable

You know what I would love? New game plus where the alchemy machine recipes have additional requirements. For example a triple health one poison potion where you can only use one ingredients
Tyler, I think your memory could use a refresher. You have made Life Salt before, in your previous play through of the game. I’m sure the recipe is different now though.
There's also a Philosopher's salt in this beta. Fair warning, every single potion going into making that is a 5-effect one.

You know what could be fun is a new potion base like honey where the potion end goal moves, so you have to cross its path and use the fire very quickly to get it. The nearby potions like healing and poison might move just a little side to side, but farther potions maybe move along paths that potentially travel into bones. That would be a good new level of difficulty to get to after using oil potions
I'm pretty sure the dwarf fighting bugs and spiders is a reference to Deep Rock Galactic.

@@malexthegreat I played the game, I know. You missed the point. The title you get for level 13 is "Greatest Alchemist". Level 12 is Grandmaster Alchemist. I won't spoil the rest.
The reason why the villager's potions are getting more specific with ingredients or complexity is because you've been around for long enough and the villagers have been buying from you for long enough that they begin to think that they also know a thing or two about potion brewing.

for the popularity level i would advise to not haggle to much, only in costly potions or in merchants, because if you haggle, independently if you win or lose, you still have to pay - 1 popularity point.

This may be one of the last episodes for a bit, but updates exist. By the way according to a reply to me comment from the last episode, there’s a wine base in development, so there’s either a third way to make a potion or completely new potions (most likely both).
Can potion of hallucination be made without rotation using another base?
it just doesnt exist in another base entirely
the oil base simply doesnt even have the effect. there are quite a few effects which are not on the oil map but on the water map. this is like this as to make the salts more used by players (or at least that is what I think). perhaps if they add a third base they may appear there who knows.

A pickaxe would do better against spiders.
Their legs are actually hydraulics, rather than using normal muscles. So if you put a hole in the leg, the whole thing would lose pressure & stop working.
It would be cool to see a potion requirement of using like at least 20 or 30 types of ingredients or something
