There's a lot of confusion about what exactly business development is.
Especially because business development can mean so many different things depending on what company you're at or what industry you're in.
So what exactly is it? How does it work? And should this be something you should be interested in?
Let's go ahead and dive in!
The definition of business development we'll be using is the process of developing growth opportunities and relationships with other organizations.
The critical components of business development are 1) growth relationships and 2) long term value.

After a long talks they ask me to deposit a good amount of money and they said the money will be use for making my license etc..So now I am confused , suspicious why did they ask me to deposit huge amount of money. Thanks for the video! However, I feel the majority of cases described relate to marketing rather than to business development. BD is about bringing NEW products and business divisions to a company through M&A.
