I love light gun games and wish they'd bring more out, especially considering how many people have the camera and Moves for PSVR. A pack of Time Crisis and Point Blank would be awesome!
I just started playing all these PS move light gun games a couple months ago. I really love the move for light gun games. It's not as Good as a PlayStation 2 with a gun con or the Sinden light gun, but it's not bad at all, better than the Wii.
yeah dude i love the ps3 gun game selections available. all the house of deads basically, mad dog macree 1 and 2, time crisis, the shoot, and others. House of Dead and MDM is still avaiable on the PS3 PSN store

But I do know that the PS3 move controllers (the move controllers with the same charge port as PS3 controllers) work on both PS3 and PS4. While the newer model Move controllers (the move controllers with the same charge port as a PS4 controller) only work on PS4. That's why I only buy older move controllers that will work with both PS3 & PS4.

Also Resident Evil HD Chronicals, and Dead Space: Extraction I see people playing these on the PS3 but I can’t find a hard copy of them anywhere, we’re they only exclusive on the PSN for purchase?
THOTD 3 is sadly really buggy and unresponsive with the move. Fails to detect reload often, gun sounds are also missing/cut off when rapid firing. A shame really. At least The House of The Dead 4 works perfectly.
That’s a good question but I would say no to backwards compatible light gun games. The PS3 light gun games all detect a move controller and has to be calibrated before playing. The older games won’t have that move controller calibration. You can play old light gun games that are in the PS3 PSN store like house of dead games.
Thanks for coming back to me. I just got a ps3 today and I own a PS5 with PSmove controllers. Just found out that the PS4 Move controllers do not work with the PS3. I then tried PS3 move controllers on PS Now on the PS4 because I wanted to play House of the Deads. It didn't work. I tried the PS4 Move controllers, didn't work. I tried the PS Aim gun and only the direction pad works none of the aim works and isn't even recognised in calibration. Of course now I'm using the PS3 move controllers as intended on PS3 but it's a shame PS3 removed PS now because now those lightgun games are useless with any of the move controllers.
@@djg3906 bummer you had to go through all that testing out. So you did get PS3 move controllers? Did you check out the PS3 PSN store directly in the PS3. There was still some house of dead games on there last I checked for $6-$7 each. I need to jump on mine again just to see what all games are still there
@@richieace5492 yeah I got the PS3 move controllers too. You're right by the way. I never looked on the actual PS3 Store I found House of the Dead 3 and 4 there. Also I had been wanting to get a non light gun game Daytona USA and that is also there so thanks for this. 😀

Mad dog was down load only, dead space extraction you had to buy dead space 2 then down load the game, res evil down load only.
Its available on Wii so you would have to go that route.
Still on the playstation store, had to add money to my account thru ps5.
You have to buy the Japan import of Resident Evil HD Chronicals.
I am thinking about buying House Of The Dead 3.

I’ve only played the PS3 version and I didn’t notice any bugs that would ruin gameplay experience. It worked fine for me.

That’s a good question but I would say no to backwards compatible light gun games. The PS3 light gun games all detect a move controller and has to be calibrated before playing. The older games won’t have that move controller calibration. You can play old light gun games that are in the PS3 PSN store like house of dead games.

I believe you can use ps4 move controllers but not the ps4 camera. Maybe someone else can confirm.
