    Laura is one of the best violin instructor for older students who never got a chance to learn violin as a child. You can only imagine how well she teaches her campus students.

    This was the most amazing, entertaining storytelling with your violin that I have ever heard! My Mother, 86 yr, enjoyed it so much, she is still laughing! Do you by chance sell the sheet music for this? I love it!

    • @RedDesertViolin
      @RedDesertViolin  Před 5 lety +2

      I can tell you what the songs were....you can find sheet music for most of them on Musescore and on Virtual Sheet Music.
      Next year, I'll offer the whole story complete with sheet music.
      1) It was a dark and stormy night (I just played Ab, A, Bb, A in sequence. Low 1 on G and all half steps after that)
      2) Dies Irae, a Gregorian Chant also called "Day of Wrath", or judgement day. I found it in my music history book, but it's on Musescore too.
      3) Addams Family (Musecore)
      4) Toccata and Fugue in Dm by J.S. Bach (Musescore)
      5) Phantom of the Opera
      6) Headless violinist played Danse Macabre by Saint Saens (Musescore)
      7) Queen of the Night aria (Musecore)
      Everything else was sound effects which hopefully you can see what I"m doing on one of the camera angles.

      Oh yes, that's the Toccata and Fugue in D minor by J.S. Bach.....probably his most famous organ piece.
