    By defAult joiner doesnot assign the table as master . Which ever table columns are first dragged and dropped on joiner they are considered as master columns .

    • @edurekaIN
      @edurekaIN  Před 6 lety

      Hey Kumar, you are correct, The first table linked to Joiner transformation is considered as the master table. Cheers :)

    In union transformation can be we extract the data only from a flat file. Or a database or we can use both like joiner transformation

    • @edurekaIN
      @edurekaIN  Před 5 lety

      The basic idea here is to use, either Joiner or Union transformation, to move the data from two sources to a single target. Based on the requirement, we may decide, which one should be used.

    In expression transformation we are concetating first name and last name so a new column gets added as name and the rows that pass through does not change i understood that but how the over all column has been reduced by one i don't get it could you explain

    • @edurekaIN
      @edurekaIN  Před 5 lety +1

      Hi Gowtham, two rows are concatenated or combined to one row. That's how one row is reduced.
