Dr. Brown, Thanks for being what a doctor should be, that so many are not - recognizing the need & taking the time to teach patients in a personable & clear way, with a great attitude! Knowledge can be found/learned by nearly anyone, but it takes the right attitude with a pleasant personality to be able to find & apply the knowledge needed to help others. So much appreciated, thanks for caring!

I have been using my inhaler for a year. I have a corneal disease which requires me to wear rigid contact lens. Have been wearing them for 55 years. I was having problems with night driving and thought it was because of my corneal disease and early onset glaucoma. After much thought, I realized that when you use the inhaler, the spray not only goes to your lungs, but also some is sprayed up from the top of the inhaler and goes into your eyes. I started covering my eyes before spraying with a clean tissue. This prevented getting any spray in my eyes. I no longer have night vision problems other than the fact that I am 80 yrs old.

Dr. Brown, Thank you very much for this detailed video. I have RSV which has caused my lungs to become inflamed. I was given an inhaler prescription with no instructions. Then the pharmacy gave it to me in a bag with no instructions. I asked to talk to the pharmacist who told me very generally to put it in my mouth and push the button. I got home and after reading the enclosed instructions was still unsure how to use it. After using it improperly without getting and benefit, I turned to CZcams, found your video and am now able to get the puff into my lungs. It was simple but no one explained in detail each step. Not even shaking it first! Thank you, Thank you! I wish I had a dr. as good as you but they are very had to find these days and Kansas is a way long commute from California for an office visit!!

Dr. Brown, thanks so much for the video! I have had lung issues since I was seventeen. I have one lung and asthma. I always had Spontaneous Pnuemo Thorax. Both right and left side. Eight on one side nine on the other. The Dr's couldn't figure out why for years. Then they said I was born with blebs (scar tissue) on my lungs. I am now 50 (well on March 27, 2022) lol, and finally I get the full benefits out of my inhalers! Thanks again!

Wow! Thank you SO much! I've been paying hundreds of dollars for about a year now, all the time wondering why I didn't think I was getting any benefit from it. For that reason, I asked the tech who gave me a pulmonary test if I was doing it correctly. He said I was, but this video clearly demonstrates that I wasn't, and that I have, in fact, been wasting my money :-(
P.S. I got onto the Internet to find out how to *clean* the spacer!

Once I started to take one I did what was explained but NO ONE has explained as clearly as you have! I take fast deep breaths in and hold, so helpful to know to go slow! Taking my daily maintenance inhaler felt noticably more effective. :)
