Tom I I had seen her in Vegas in 82 and fell in love with her. I was 21 and i was at the front table. The second show I was back in the same seat but on other side of table and changed my clothes for second show. She asked me if I was at first one and I said yes and told her she made my heart jump so hard I had to come back. She laughed and told me how extremely handsome I was and asked my name so I told her. She was so good and later Mac Davis came out and did his show and with both they chanel songs and did some together. Before she went off stage she bent down and gave me a kiss and hug. Loved her so much after and was as devastated at her passing as I was Elvis Presleys.
Love these 2 i miss the good old days.. things are just not the same anymore.. I saw Kenny in concert and Dolly Parton was with him.. what a great concert that was back in the early 80's..

when i was little, i wanted to look like dottie west. i just thought she was the most gorgeous thing ever. i wanted the big hair, the sparkly clothes, the nails. oh well.
Ahhhhh! I saw them in Nashville in about 1980 at the ‘new’ Opry House at Opryland. He wore that purple suit and she had on that exact outfit. I wonder where this clip was from? That looks a lot like The Opry House. That was my first concert. I was about 9. I sure wish things now were like they were then.

Her music was kinda like country and Pop crossed, Fabulous, I think her and Kenny would have made a great couple, great chemistry between both of them.
I met Dottie's ex in New Orleans and he took me to turn in my rental can one night so I wouldn't miss my plan back to Indianapolis early the next morning. Don't remember if it was Bryon on he first husband. Was in mid seventies.

Kenny and Dottie had such great chemistry with each other, she would have made a great wife for him, if he wasn't already married to Marianne already.

I had totally forgotten this was a Sonny and Cher song. I like it better with Dottie and Kenny!
Sonny & Cher's original reached #7 in 1971. Kenny & Dottie's version reached #102 in 1979. (U.S., Billboard)
Entirely different decades.
Now this is COUNTRY!!!!

I was listening to this without watching it - and damn - if he don't sound like Sonny here.
Blood dripping in the mirror.
Walked the catwalk steps.

I left another icr-cream

The worst thing Kenny ever did was have plastic surgery, it ruined his beautiful iconic face.
He was the handsomest, sexiest looking man you could hope to see. Don't know why he ever had plastic surgery.
You can"t tell he was"t riding her apron string's! He can't ever out do her vocal's!
I don't accept actions by police anymore.
Was Kenny ever sweet on Dotte? Did he meet her prior to Dolly ?
No shopping.
I think they did a better job than Sonny and Cher.
