Rusty was a great little actor with perfect timing. His lines were hilarious and he nailed them. ❤

Mac Benoff wrote this one as "S.L. Bershad" and "A.J. Jacobs" {Danny and Sheldon's real names}. Like Frank Tarloff, he was blacklisted by the entertainment industry for his politicial views, several years before. Mac was also one of Danny's original writers on the series- and Thomas felt the industry wasn't being fair to anyone trying to earn a decent living under polarizing cicrumstances. So he occasionally accepted scripts from him under a pseudonym. Sadly, Benoff died of a heart attack in 1972, at the age of 57.
The "flashback" is from the episode "The Orphan Asylum" [Season 5, Episode 25/March 21, 1957], which was one of Danny's personal favorites.
I always loved the Mid-Century Modern room furnishings in all the later seasons.
