Don't forget to mention that king and queen's judgement gene can keep their cool attack animations on different monsties. So far, I only know about Mayday, my Yian Garuga has that effect but I imagine some other flying monsties can carry that cool attack animation from their genes. It was just something very cool I discovered

From what I’ve seen monsters with the same body types as the Raths have a similar animation. I tried it with my Narga and she did her 360 tail spin and then did her roar animation for the fireball attack. Zinogre(and I’m assuming Stygian by extension) does bite animation then uses the howl/super charge animation for the fireball attack.
How many Rathalos and Rathain do you need?

God I wish they continued adding monsties that aren't fire and filled out more of the elements that are lacking in game (Water and Dragon) and just add Monsties they Cut from being obtainable. Not hating the game just a bit disappointed in the selection being more of a popularity contest instead of a well and proper selection.
If they do continue adding monsties in the future, they could aim to Water and Dragon Monsties, adding Nameiel, Coral Pukie, Odogaron, Ebony Odogaron, Savage Deviljho, Jeratodus (even thou he be hated in Stories like in both World and Rise), Plesioth, and Green Plesioth. Adding some ice borne monsters like Beotodus, Banbaro, Viper Tobi, Nightshade to give more variety to ice, electric (could make Viper Tobi Technically with a slightly stronger version of Arachniphobia), and non-elemental. And to top it of adding more deviants like Abyssal Lagi, Red Helm, and Snow Baron with the some elder dragons like Namiel previously mentioned with Valstraks. Crossovers like Rise could be added upon, leading for more monsties like Tetranodon, Insomicanth, and Magnamalo can be added in with different monsters from different games like in the previous Stories with their Zelda and Puzzle and Dragons (PaD) crossover.
As cool as that sounds the devs have said that they’re just putting in popular monsters
I know he'd end up being a power fire, but no want them to add raging brachy so bad. He's my favorite monster ever and I'd drop my maxed gene build dreadking for him instantly. But I do completely agree with you about everything else, it's disappointing that they added so many power fires and just ignored water and dragon like you said.
@@moitsar8999 which so far are mostly fire monsties asides of the elementally confused Molten Tigrex, Oroshi, and the Fated 4 deviants.

finally we can now BREE- i mean GENETIC MODI- i mean GET THE ULTIMATE RATHALOS. mixing up Silver's genes and putting them on Dreadking (i'm sorry i'm biased to Dreadking and i love his kinship) so he can become, THE ULTIMATE RATHALOS!!!!

FYI, Solar Cry work with Soul Kinship, so thats 52 kinship from solar cry with soul kinship XL 2*, then add kin cost down and the 50 cost kinship moves suddenly seem much more usable

If I recall correctly, you can use Solar Cry while mounted to build the level of your Kinship Attack.

Btw, flare move is super strong, it's massive damage, same as teo's super nova attack, it's the same just a little bit cheaper, it sucks for pve, but it's great for pvp

Silver Rathalos and Gold Raithian were of the special monsters of the ORIGINAL MONSTER HUNTER STORIES. There were only three versions of rathalos/rathian back then, instead of the four we have now (Dreadking/Dreadqueen). (I am not trying to be rude here, I am pointing out information, and the Rathalos/Rathian are the stars of Monster Hunter, so of course there are four different versions.)
anyone else dislike the colouration of silver rathalos’ under belly and wing webbing? i just think that world and rises silver los all silver design with the white underbelly looks so much cleaner.
I feel like that the power-scaling for monsters are broken cause most monsters are just better versions of others, we should get subspecies, rare species, deviants and variants to all have different attack patterns with all the monsters actually having millions of attack patterns ( EX: every rathalos always starts with a power move and the second turn will be always be technical to counter your speed choice unless you countered his first move to then he will use a speed move to get airborne for the ongoing fight).
Don't want to name _every_ Rathalos just 'Ratha'?

Well with a monstie have singel skinship attack, that stat is decent. But i more like bomb fest with teostra. Because his skinship skill can trigger blastblight too

Yeah, Slip N' Slam spam is amazing. I worked with a guy in multiplayer who used this strategy to help me through a 9* Kirin fight. And just to remind you...the knockdown is guaranteed. Even on Fatalis.

Okay dumb question. But my game is updated to latest version but I'm not getting the update for these 2 is it because it isnt technically the 28th for me yet? Tried closing and reopening the game, restarting the system, and updating from the menu screen (tells me I have latest version). I can see people hosting the subspecies quests but can't make one myself.....considering yeeting my switch to the next dimension.

Given that it's the end of the current roadmap of Stories 2, they may update it in November if not December *if* they do have plans to add more content into the game

I think he's stronger than normal and azure rathalos, but just under teostra in power. So he's still viable by endgame.

Rathalos: dark blue secondary color, flame-esque pattern on wings and yellow iris
Razewing: black secondary color, intricate rune-like pattern on wings and black iris

Can your hellblade build work on silver rath ?
I'm confused, I'm fully updated but the den isn't showing up for me, it's showing up for other people and I can join them but I can't start my own. Is there a prerequisite somewhere that needs to be done for them?
Maybe you have to close the game then reopen it? I saw the other people hosting the new exploration, but I didn't have it myself. I think its because it automatically updated in sleep mode as opposed to telling me at every autosave that I have to close and update the game. For switch games in general, if you download dlc while playing the game, you have to close it before you can use the dlc

Considering that Stories 2 has just sold half a million more copies than expected (planned to sell 800k, actually sold 1.3 million), YES.
This may be an unpopular opinion, but these recently added monsters feel rather cheap. Most of them have multi-hit attacks that cannot be countered through the 'Power, Speed, Technical' system, and have such health pools that they win through attrition. Once Gold Rathian hits that health threshold, it just becomes 'Valiant Flare, Flame Blaster, 'Rargh, I'm angry,' Venom Swipe, Venom Swipe, Queen's Judgement, Reset'.
think kings judgement is a good replacement for the hellblade skill?
Hellblade has the much higher crit chance but is more costly. Depends on your rng luck mostly

Am I the only person who can't seem to update my game to 1.5.1 it keeps saying I'm all up to date but I'm clearly not I'm still stuck on ver 1.5.0 and cannot go and do the new online quests
After seeing these I'll probably stick with dreadking, but does anyone know the difference between dreadking and hellblade stat wise. Cause while dreadking is cool (and I have a maxed gene build for him) I think hellblade is so damn cool and I want to use him but not if he's really weak compared to what I got.
