Great to listen to this as a bedroom studio hobbyist myself. I came from a area in England that loved the drum and bass genre.. I grew up wanting to be a club mc which after years of practice I got pretty good at it.. nowadays I have just started making rap beats and drill/trap instrumentals. I don't actually mc no more so I'm putting my energy into beats.. I just started to understand the basics eg. I'm working with a free version of cubase 12 with a limit of 24 audio tracks available so I'm building the drums in a about 13. Then maybe 7 midi tracks I have to bounce down to free up cpu. Apart from buying a ur44c I haven’t paid nothing major yet. If you had to pick a starter keyboard what would that be?
