It was an immense pleasure and honour to interview Tad for the FF CZcams. 💜 Tad is such a kind and amazing person with a wealth of experience and it's always a joy to talk to him. I'm glad people get to see his passion for writing and reading and his own work.
Tad Williams is one of my all time favourite authors!
Continually so impressed by authors being generous with their time and giving fans an insight into how our favourite stories are created!
Great job Nessa as always ❤
What a treat to hear and enjoy this detailed window into Tad’s history and creative process. I’ve followed and enjoyed all of Tad’s fiction going back to Tailchaser’s Song! His writing advice is inspiring.
Keep writing whatever you want Tad… it’s all great fun. Admittedly Osten Ard is a ‘tad’ more fun than the ‘other flowers, shadows and dollars’ 😉
What a fantastic opportunity! Congratulations Nessa and the FF team 🎉
Well done Nessa. Tad Williams!? Yet again the FF knocking it out the park
The names the fellowship continue to draw amazes me!
Surprising he doesn't think Memory, Sorrow and Thorn will be the first to be adapted. I've actually written a few adaptation notes and other things on my free time because of how much I love it! That would be my life goal, I could die happy, if I was a part of making it come true
Memory, Sorrow and Thorn is my favorite fantasy series, but it will never, ever be adapted. The protagonists all worship a Christian God (albeit not called that), and if there's one thing the movie industry doesn't like, it's romanticizing and promoting Christianity.
I already had a bunch of Tad Williams’ books on my TBR, but the enthusiasm he has when discussing his work just bumped those up toward the top of the TBR.
(Also always appreciate a Xena mention, regardless of context 😂)
Wonderful interview! Time to push The War of the Flowers up my TBR.
War of the Flowers is probably my favourite standalone of all time
Another fantastic interview! The way he spoke about his books has bumped Dragonbone Chair way up my tbr!
Amazing interview, well done Nessa! Tad's so passionate about it all it really makes me want to prioritise picking up more of his work.
Always a pleasure to hear from Tad. One of these days I hope he does a Q&A about some of his characters. In particular, I hope I can ask him about the prophecy twins of Osten Ard.
Incredible interview! ☺️ looking forward to read more books by Tad Williams soon!
What an insightful interview!! This has definitely made me want to check out some of his books! I’ve heard a lot of great things about The Dragonbone Chair
Fantastic interview ❤ you've got me very excited to read some more Tad Williams books
Love the pillow pile!
I love Memory Sorrow and Thorn . I just started the heart of what was lost last night and I'm halfway through, I can't wait to start the Witchwood crown
Wow these interviews are just dominating! The amount of high profile names in such a short time had been unreal 🎉
Amazing!!! Tad is one of the best ❤
So excited to read Tad's books! Great job Nessa 💛
Amazing 😊 I'm determined to read some Tad Williams this year!
Fantastic interview!
Tad Williams is such a good writer - I really liked Memory, Sorrow and Thorn and the published volumes in The Last King of Osten Ard saga. Looking forward to The Navigator's Children later this year!
My TBR can’t take any more of these interviews 🥲 (please keep them coming 😂). Great job, Nessa!
Well done Jelena great job! Excited to read Memory, Sorrow and Thorn!!
Excellent job Nessa! ❤
One of my all time favourite authors! Great interview
I don't know if anyone mentioned it...Dave McKean is the artist Tad was mentioning of.....and, yes! Barbara Tuchman was an amazing popular Historian, A Distant Mirror is a classic. . This was an excellent interview, glad I stumbled upon it. Cheers!
Two legends! So excited to watch this, Tad seems like such a sweetheart
Nessa you did amazing!!🎉 such a great interview🤩
Loved this interview. Finally made me pick up The Dragobone Chair and I've been lost in it for hours 😍
I love Tad Williams
I can't WAIT to read some of Osten Ard. I have had Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn on the shelves for a while. Just haven't sat down with the Dragon Bone Chair to start yet. He definitely seems like a great storyteller. I'll need to correct this soon!
He's the best living storyteller
It's an amazing series
so many books added to myt tbr afterwatching this
Great interview 😊 though I'm not entirely convinced that the cat didn't write the epic novels and Tad took the credit 😂😉
Moving War of Flowers up the tbr now ☺️
This already looks like a great interview 😄His room looks just as messy as all of mine do 🤣
Amazing! Thanks FF & Nessa for bringing this author to my attention ❤️
...and so the tbr grows 😅
