One of the most interesting sets with licensing issues like these is the 75916 Dilophosaurus Ambush. The original set was the red/grey Jurassic Park Jeep (there is a picture online of the prototype set) but they changed the colours to white and blue like the other Jurassic World vehicles and the front, to make it less similar to a Jeep Wrangler.
Ohhhh this would make a sequel list!

3:36 fun fact, in the spanish dub for Jaws the movie was called "Tiburón" witch is shark in spanish.
Also the case with the Swedish title: “Hajen.”
Another one you missed was found in the home alone set. In that set their is a sticker with Michael Jordan and on his jersey it says bricks instead on bulls. Which references the Chicago bulls team which Micheal Jordan played on back then.

Since we’re talking about the unlicensed car for Iron Man, don’t forget Vulture’s van also went unlicensed for the Homecoming sets and Ant-Man’s van for Endgame

Hopper's car from Upside Down is unlicensed as well, it's a Chevy K5 Blazer in the show

Cole has an AC/DC shirt in a LEGO NINJAGO MOVIE set. It's written in Ninjargon so it's definitely unlicensed
In 2002 Leo Studios also included a halloween theme line. A small series of sets with Universal Monsters. It didn't say Universal Monsters but its kinda obvious, they just a set for the werewolf, the mummy, the Frankenstein monster and a vampire. Now that I think of it, it would seem that a later line called "Monster fighters" was a remake for that
Would the Harumi's Torso in Ninjago Gamer's market qualifies ? It's literally a remake of the Kill Bill outfit!
Neat video! Here are a few I know of: In the Marvel set "Detroit Steel Strikes," agent Coulson's flying car, aka "Lola," is an unlicensed C1 Chevy Corvette. It's pretty blatant since that car was an iconic part of Marvel's Agents of Shield series and anyone who knows anything about Lola knows exactly what it's supposed to be. The set with Ghost Rider's car is also pretty clearly supposed to be a Dodge Charger, which is what he drives in a lot of official media, and the build of it is very similar to official Lego Dodge Chargers.
There's also another unlicensed Tony Stark car in the armory set iirc, his hot rod with flame paint, which is a 1932 Ford,
and one of the original Lego Avengers sets had a beige military truck which is not only an unlicensed Humvee, but an official Lego military vehicle!
I really wish they'd do a remake of Lola and Coulson in another set. Ideally a Lola vs Ghost Rider set

Fun fact: here in Latam Jaws' movies was called "Tiburón" (Shark)
Most studios instructions include snapshots from other movies in Lego form like Jaws, Jurassic Park and Indiana Jones. They use Johnny Thunder as Indiana Jones unsurprisingly.

This video made me miss The Lego movie's because they had pop culture refrences constantly 😂
The New Asgard/Thor’s living room has an orange can which is meant to represent Irn Bru, a Scottish soft drink that was in the background of the film
it also had the obvious reference to fortnite, *which they replaced with a lego game*
While not in the set, I found it funny how the promo stop-motion video for The Beatles' Yellow Submarine set was not able to use any actual songs by the Beatles, so they used imitation soundalikes loosely mimicking the songs 'Yellow Submarine', 'Hey Bulldog', 'Taxman' and 'A Day In The Life'.
(Also a bit strange as Taxman was not used the movie)
This was such an interesting list. I always love seeing stuff like this like the Michael Jordan cutout in the Home Alone set or Tony Stark's Black Sabbath t-shirt from the Sakaarian Iron Man set. Hope we get a sequel video

One of the CMFs is pretty clearly a minifigure of Jacksepticeye.
Also, if anybody brings them up, US politicians are considered public domain, but they have to dressed how they did as a politician. If Lego wanted to, they could make Arnold Schwarzenegger, but specifically as Governor.

The Lego Jurassic world carnotaurus chase set 76941 contains an unlicensed Mercedes Benz 6x6. I think some other JW sets also have unlicensed Mercedes vehicles.

Pretty much all cars (and other vehicles) in the Indiana Jones line go unlicensed, but the main one that I find funny is the truck from the set with Indy chasing 2 German cars. The truck has a stud on the hood representing the Mercedes star which he used (or rather tried to use) to hold onto the truck in the movie
I remember in Lego Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Brick short film they put out he actually pulls off that stud in the same way as the Mercedes emblem

Another unlicensed vehicle would be Hopper's Chevy K5 Blazer in the same stranger things set mentioned in this video
The Ninjago movie CMF series has the AC/DC logo on Cole’s shirt, although it is written in the Ninjago language.
other unlicensed vehicles are in LEGO Dimensions such as the Ethan Hunt Level Pack "IMF Sports Car"
You missed the 76077 Iron Man: Detroit Steel Strikes set which clearly has a 1959 Corvette build as Agent Coulson’s car without giving any credit to GM. Great list though!

Speed champions had multiple unnamed Formula 1 drivers included in sets, the 2022 AMG W12 had an obvious Lewis Hamilton and the older Ferraris had Sebastian Vettel look alikes.
Another moment of a licensed vehicle going unlicensed is actually in the stranger things set, the police truck in the show is actually a squarebody Chevrolet Blazer

The IP for The Lego Movie is jointly owned by both WB and Lego. Either company needs permission from the other to make merchandise/movies/etc. with the characters

Since the lunar lander set uses two unnamed Astronauts which could technically be any of the 12 people who landed on the moon it would be a lot cooler if they included the pieces to add the lunar rover and later science experiments to recreate all of the lunar missions

Interesting/informative list. Been forever since I've seen BTTF2 but not would not have remembered the Mattel branding on the hoverboard. Also never would have caught the Blockbuster reference though I own the set, haven't seen the movie. Not sure if it counts but the similarly styled AC/DC shirt Cole wears in that Ninjago set. As for non licensed vehicles take your pick from just about any and all aircrafts military or otherwise in any city/creator or Superhero themed set. Most notably the Black Widow set.

LEGO definitely ripped off the power rangers in a cmf series. It was done as a generic character but was definitely intended as the red ranger. It’s ok though cause the power rangers ripped off Voltron anyway 🤦♂️ 😂 Great video 👍

Johnny Thunder (Adventurers) is basically a rip-off of Indiana Jones. very explicit in this recent Atari set, where a Johnny Thunder poster even has the font of the first Indy movie.
Timecruisers is also very obviously a whole line more than heavily inspired by Back To The Future.

Does it count if it isn't a blatant reference/rip-off/whatever? For example, the ball piece doesn't seem to have any detailing that says, "Here's the superlaser emitter, so this is the Death Star." It just looks like a plain, ordinary ball. 🤔
