👋Hi guys! Thank you for checking out this video on Kulai! In case you are wondering, yes, if you want to cover all the sights in this video, Kulai can be visited on a day trip from Singapore if you start off early enough, say, 7.00am departure from Singapore (provided no long queue at the land checkpoints).
However, if you prefer a more leisurely pace, and you want to shop at Johor Premium Outlet(JPO), which is also in Kulai, we would suggest that you take a 2-day-1-night trip instead. You can either spend a night in Kulai town itself(there're hotel accommodations in Kulai but we have not stayed there ourselves), or like us, we choose to overnight in Johor Bahru as JB is only about 30 to 40 minutes drive away from Kulai.
If you like to look up our hotel suggestions for Johor Bahru, do check out the video which we did on Johor Bahru hotels here: czcams.com/video/SpIYX0HUrt0/video.htmlsi=6LireL2iz2QGXnjq
    Happy exploring, guys! Cheers!😊

Nice vlog! I missed out on the kiln chicken and gunung pulai last visit. Perhaps I'll pay these sites a visit next time. Thanks for sharing!

Hi! Thank you for checking out our vlog. Glad you enjoyed it. Gunung Pulai and the kiln chicken are definitely worth a visit. If you plan to visit kiln chicken with a bigger group, we would recommend their herbal chicken soup over the pig stomach soup featured in the video as it was much more flavourful and the use of herbs was well balanced. We found this out on our 3rd visit there…hehe…Thanks again for watching and have a blessed day ahead!😊

Very nicely done video. Enjoyed it. How many days in advance should I book for the chicken restaurant?

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the video. For WenYaoJi, we recommend that you book at least 2 days in advance and pre-order the dishes you want at the same time. Hope this helps. Have a great evening! :)

There are very few kampung chicken in Malaysia, it’s never so big. The meat of real kampung chicken is quite tough and usually quite skinny. You will hardly find real kampung served in restaurants. At best you get is farm chicken of kampung chicken breed. Real cage free kampung chicken is never soft or tender.

Hi! That’s an interesting point you have made. The restaurant did state in their menu that the chickens they serve are kampung chickens and we take it in good faith they are. And the texture of the chicken meat was indeed different from the usual chickens. Perhaps the long marinating process could have helped to render the chicken tender. Thank you for sharing the information on kampung chicken. Appreciate it. Have a good evening!😊

Hi! Yeah…perhaps it’s because they don’t operate daily and don’t have economy of scale of full-fledged restaurants. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Have a great day! 😊

Hi! Thanks for letting me know👍🏻Took quite a few videos and another viewer’s comment for me to finally realise that😅So in recent videos, I tied up my hair whenever I can(unless forgot to bring hair tie). But I realise in some scenarios, the end of my ponytail still touched the table. So I have decided to trim my hair slightly too. Thanks again for letting me know. Have a blessed evening!😊
