Dude is getting paid for this, I doubt he cares much of anyone's opinion as long as the money comes. And this is much more stable than streaming.
The clone was loved by everyone more than the original and the original seems to not like the way things are with his life. It would have just made sense for the clone to keep the life and provide financial support to the original while he lives a new life somewhere else.
But the clone also has feelings and isn't it obvious that like u r just becoming a slave to them...

The biggest issue with that, is that the original is not willing to give up his life, and the clone is not able to take his place either.
They both love Miles' wife, but she can't make it work with the clone. She tried.
It's not easy having two people live one life... but the show's ending is open. Maybe they'll find some way to make it work as a trio.
He did try but the cloning with past memories embedded would not allow. So apparently the korean guys infact did not clone him (in true sense) but copy pasted him cell by cell.
"Defeating yourself" got to a whole new level here.
Theoretically they could take advantage of it by switching places each day or sharing stuff to do. Actually you can be at two places at the same time! The question is, could you trust "yourself" in a situation like this? 😳

Honestly I'm kinda surprised that a relatively normal and therefore not-super selfish person (as opposed to say a crime boss who really don't to share stuff with a clone) would have a problem with his or her clone. I mean, they're your clone, who have identical experiences, memories, and preferences as you do. Literally no one else could understand you and sympathize with you better. Like, if I had one, I'd just want to make friends with him and share our lives as a team. We could do so much together. As for the wife, I think I'd also be fairly fine with sharing the realtionship since it's literally yourself. I'd have some reservations about telling her but still I don't think I'd get jealous of my clone. If I die for any reason, the best person I could leave my life and my family to would be a clone of my literal self.
Not to mention that the clone is also better than the original.
(This logic could be a bit different with the superior clone and the weaker original self, but, given the degree to which most people are kinda lonely in today's world, even if I have to carry a weaker version of myself I'd think prefer that to the vast majority of friends I could otherwise make or teammates and partners I could otherwise have. Being the stronger one also makes it mentally safe and reassuring since you're in a more dominant position in the partnership.)
